This is what an angry mob looks like. I’ve been to numerous Tea Party rallies, and have never seen abhorrent behavior like this at any of them. But, don’t forget, according to the MSM it’s Conservatives that are fueled by anger and hatred:

Early in the video as the angry mob is chasing Republican Senator Glenn Grothman you can hear people shouting “Don’t let him get away. Don’t let him get in,” and then a chant of “Fuck you!”

As they trap Sen. Grotham against a wall, thankfully one of his somewhat-sane Democrat colleagues, Rep. Brett Hulsey steps between the angry mob and his Republican colleague. As Rep. Hulsey implores the crowd to act peacefully, one of the thugs yells out sarcastically, “Not that we want to kill you…”

Notice what you don’t see in this 12 minute video? Any police. That’s because they are siding with the angry mob. If Rep. Hulsey hadn’t of been there to stand between them and Sen. Grothman, I have little doubt that he would have been physically assaulted as they trapped him against the wall and refused to let him into the capitol building.

The Lonely Conservative adds:

These people are showing every day who they are. They are uncivilized, greedy, bullying animals. The fact that the President has not come out and called for “civility” should really tell you all you need to know. Don’t tell me he doesn’t see what’s going on. This is his shtick, he’s probably enjoying every moment of it. This is what happens when the community is organized. Chaos. Harassment. Thuggery. This is hope. This is change. Welcome to the age of Obama.

Sonogram

It's not a choice...it's a baby.

The Texas legislature is debating a bill that would require women seeking abortions to view a sonogram of their fetus before killing it.

While I think abortion is an abhorrent act and the absolute worst possible decision any woman can make in regards to her pregnancy, I still oppose this bill.

Abortion is still legal in Texas. Period. This is unnecessary government intrusion into a legal activity.

AUSTIN — Lawmakers are poised to add more restrictions to a woman’s right to an abortion as the Texas House today is expected to begin considering a bill requiring women to get a sonogram at least 24 hours before having an abortion.

The bill, passed by the House State Affairs Committee last week, would require doctors to inform a woman that she has a right to view a sonogram and hear a fetal heartbeat.

The woman would be allowed to sign an affidavit exempting her from viewing the sonogram or hearing a heartbeat, but she still would be required to listen to the doctor’s explanation of the sonogram.

The House bill, sponsored by Rep. Sid Miller, R-Stephenville, is more stringent than the version that won Senate approval two weeks ago.

Miller’s bill requires the doctor to perform a sonogram at least 24 and no more than 72 hours before an abortion is performed. The waiting period ensures the woman must make two trips to the abortion facility to go through with the procedure.

The Senate version would require the woman to receive a sonogram two hours before an abortion, allowing the procedure to occur the same day.

Though I completely disagree with the Houston Chronicle’s amazingly biased lede that this restricts a woman’s right to an abortion — even if this bill passes, a woman will still have every right to have an abortion as she does today.

Now, let’s talk about making sure that zero tax dollars are ever used to fund this atrocity, and I’m all on board.

The Dallas County Republican Party is conducting a straw poll for the election to replace Sen. Kay Baily Hutchison in the US Senate.

GOP candidates for US Senate Texas

Of these six candidates, I would only consider supporting two of them: Michael Williams and Ted Cruz. And of these two men, I believe that Michael Williams is by far the strongest, most principled, and most consistently-Conservative candidate.

I’ve met Michael Williams on several occasions and firmly believe that a lot of what is wrong in D.C. could be fixed by men like Michael Williams. Nothing against Ted Cruz, but he’s just not nearly as good of a candidate as Michael Williams. I have not heard one person give me one reason why I should vote for Ted Cruz over Michael Williams, but I can give you at least 10 off the top of my head to vote for Michael Williams over Ted Cruz (beginning with electability — Williams has already been elected to statewide office three times. Ted Cruz? Never).

So…if you have a moment, head over to the straw poll and cast your vote for who you’d like to see replace KBH in D.C. (NOTE: if you’re hoping for a Donk to replace KBH…well…LOL…you’re in the wrong state, buddy).

fat, lazy, union worker in Wisconsin capitol buildingA picture truly is worth a thousand words, isn’t it?

This picture (courtesy of Doug Ross) perfectly symbolizes the boated excess, the unapologetic sloth, the undisputed laziness, and the complete child-like behavior that is public unions (and most private unions, too).

This fat bastard needs the unions to take care of him, because he certainly doesn’t look capable of doing it himself.

And then there’s the unionized cops. Not doing their job, either. Siding with their union brothers and sisters. If you were on the pro-Governor Walker side of this issue, and violence breaks out (as it already has) from union-thugs, do you really think you can count on these cops to protect you or come to your assistance?

I wouldn’t bet on it.

When Gov. Walker starts laying off workers this week, he should start with police officers who refused to do their jobs and politicized their public service jobs.

Again, just one more reason why public workers should never, ever be allowed to organize.

Anyway…somebody needs to check Bluto for a pulse.

I’ve mentioned before that my closet is full of t-shirts from my buddies over at Ranger Up. And it looks like I’m about to have to add another one to the collection — their new Sheepdog t-shirt (inspired by the Wolf/Sheep/Sheepdog analogy of Lt. Col. Dave Grossman):

Sheepdog t-shirt from Ranger UpFor those not familiar with the concept:

We know that the sheep live in denial; that is what makes them sheep. They do not want to believe that there is evil in the world. They can accept the fact that fires can happen, which is why they want fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms and fire exits throughout their kids’ schools. But many of them are outraged at the idea of putting an armed police officer in their kid’s school. Our children are dozens of times more likely to be killed, and thousands of times more likely to be seriously injured, by school violence than by school fires, but the sheep’s only response to the possibility of violence is denial. The idea of someone coming to kill or harm their children is just too hard, so they choose the path of denial.

The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic such as ours.

Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would prefer that he didn’t tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports in camouflage fatigues holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, “Baa.”

Until the wolf shows up. Then the entire flock tries desperately to hide behind one lonely sheepdog. — Lt. Col. Grossman

Stones. Hugh stones. That’s what these guys have:

Vegans always like to contend that humans are not “natural meat eaters” based especially on our physiology; that we are just not built to obtain meat. Our teeth are wrong, we have no claws, improper digestive tract and so on…which of course is nothing but pure crapola.

Try selling that vegan-crap to these guys…

Anyway…I’ve been pursing a new way of living over the last year…a much more primal way of eating, moving, exercising, thinking…and thought this video was amazing. Though I’m not quite that ready to go and find my own grass-fed meat by taking it away from a pride of lions…

Michael Barone at The Washington Examiner:

Public-employee unions are a mechanism by which every taxpayer is forced to fund the Democratic Party

But he [Obama] did find time to be interviewed by a Wisconsin television station and weigh in on the dispute between Republican Gov. Scott Walker and the state’s public employee unions. Walker was staging “an assault on unions,” he said, and added that “public employee unions make enormous contributions to our states and our citizens.”

Enormous contributions, yes — to the Democratic Party and the Obama campaign. Unions, most of whose members are public employees, gave Democrats some $400 million in the 2008 election cycle. The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, the biggest public employee union, gave Democrats $90 million in the 2010 cycle.

Meanwhile. Mark McKinnon at the Daily Beast makes the case as to why it’s time to end unions and their privileged class:

The primary purpose of public unions today, as ugly as it sounds, is to work against the financial interests of taxpayers: the more public employees are paid in wages and uncapped benefits, the less taxpayers keep of the money they earn. It’s time to call an end to the privileged class. And the White House makes a mistake if it thinks it can grow a manufactured and uncivil unrest into a popular movement. Voters will not follow those who flee.

Rep. Michelle Litjens

Did Gordon "Happy Ending" Hintz threaten to kill Rep. Michelle Litjens because she refused his sexual advances?

Remember state Rep. Gordon Hintz (D-WI)? He was in the news last week after getting caught up in a prostitution sting (no…he didn’t resign…that would have been Republican Rep. Chris Lee. He’s still proudly and defiantly in office)?

Well, the douchenozzle from Oshkosh is back in the news today — with a continued display of the misogyny that probably led him to exploit female sex workers in the first place.

Last Friday…. after the Assembly voted to engross the Budget Repair Bill, Hintz turned to a female colleague, Rep. Michelle Litjens and said: “You are Fucking dead!”

New tone, indeed. Will he be held accountable?

I’m trying to imagine what would happen here in my office if, after a particularly contentious meeting, I turned to one of my female (or male) colleagues and told them “you’re fucking dead.” Actually, I don’t have to imagine for very long, because I know I would be escorted out of the building within a matter of minutes with my employment fully terminated.

Perhaps he (along with the entirety of the public sector unions in Wisconsin) missed Obama’s call for civility in the wake of the Giffords shooting in Tuscon…but the question remains: does Rep. “Happy Ending” Hintz plan on killing Rep. Litjens himself, or will he farm that out to his union-thugs?

But, since we’ve discarded any pretense at pretending to be civil and get along with each other — I’ll come right out and say it…some man somewhere, whether it be Rep. Litjens’ husband, a fellow Congressman, or a chivalrous citizen of Wisconsin…whoever….but somebody needs to punch the lights out of Hintz. Men don’t talk to women that way, and if they do, they should be beat down by the real men around them.

Had that been my wife, there would not be enough union-goons or Capitol police in the world to protect him from a deserving punch in the pie hole.

RedState has the audio report. And Rep. Litjens confirms it on her Facebook page:

Rep Michelle Litjens facebook pageRed State adds:

In other words, a guy who has to hire prostitutes tells an attractive state assemblywoman he has no chance with that she is “f**king dead” for her vote on legislation.

I wonder if Gordon Hintz’s union masters taught him how to be so classy.

The Powers That Be: “These people are starting to make Sarah Palin’s “bullseye” election map look like a Sesame Street poster.”

What Media Bias?

Wisconsin has a union-run Liberal media. Which means you won’t hear a peep about it from the Wisconsin media. Which means you also won’t be hearing about it from the NY Times, the Washington Post (unless Jennifer Rubin writes about it). And you sure won’t hear about it from any prominent Liberal bloggers — to include the usual man-hating feminist Liberal bloggers. Just take a look at who is talking about it at Memeorandum:

Gordon Hintz on memeorandumNope…not a single non-Conservative blogger or news agency even mentioning the story…

This is awesome, totally makes me smile, and gives me some glimmer of hope that today’s youth aren’t all a bunch of Liberal-academia brainwashed idiots:

A pro-abortion “Walk for Choice” rally was held in downtown Chicago’s Daley Plaza on Saturday, February 26, 2011. Participants of the “Walk for Choice” were protesting HR Bill 3 which limits taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.

As a response to the “Walk for Choice,” anonymous teens and young adults organized a “Pro-Life Flash Mob” over the span of a few days. The goal of the event was not to counter-protest, but to give a positive message of joy and life to Chicago.

The youth assembled inconspicuously around the plaza before the rally hiding their giant yellow balloons in black trash bags. When the “Walk for Choice” had assembled, the youth prompted by music coming from a backpack sound system then proceeded to unveil the helium balloons imprinted with the word “LIFE.”

These exclusive videos shows the “Pro-Life Flash Mob” taking the “pro-choicers” by surprise with Life, Spirit, and Truth!

As participants of the “Walk for Choice” were asked to wear orange for the event, so the Pro-Life flash mob jovially asks in their sign: “ORANGE YOU GLAD TO SEE US???”

Which side has more joy?

Big GovernmentOf course that’s not the headline the props at the Washington Post wrote. Instead Lori Montgomery at the Washington Post breathlessly repeats the latest George Soros talking point that the GOP spending plan would “cost 700K jobs.”

And she says it like it’s a bad thing…

A Republican plan to sharply cut federal spending this year would destroy 700,000 jobs through 2012, according to an independent economic analysis set for release Monday.

The report, by Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi, offers fresh ammunition to Democrats seeking block the Republican plan, which would terminate dozens of programs and slash federal appropriations by $61 billion over the next seven months.

Here’s the thing Lori — most of those jobs would be public sector and government jobs. Which we’re more than fine with. The government has simply grown too large, and needs to be trimmed way back. Which means people need to go. Hell…it means entire departments and agencies (looking at you Dept of Education) need to go.
