And while we love music of all sounds and notes, we’d like to focus on those that want their wedding mix to be less “Top 40″ and more of music that is true to the soul.

I hope you agree that I haven’t lost my mind even though I’m posting an engagement session without music related props (gasp!) It was such a pleasure compiling a mix for the one year celebration of everyone’s favorite Utterly Engaged! These lovely ladies threw one helluva bash (take a look for yourself in Issue #12!) that I wish I could have attended in person. However my heart and spirit were there among the s’more tarts and the wonderful attendees!

Fergus & Geronimo – Powerful Lovin’

I’m pretty stoked about today’s tune because these guys are playing a house show here in town on Thursday night! I can’t wait! The house is supposedly haunted (it’s right next to the oldest cemetery in our city). Aside from that fun fact, it will be rad to see Fergus & Geronimo in such an intimate atmosphere! So keep on lovin’ – powerfully!
