According to RadarOnline.com, Fantasia Barrino, admitted to being pregnant and subsequently aborting a baby around the time of her failed suicide attempt after details of an affair with a married man, Antwaun Cook, were released to the press.

Fantasia is currently being sued by Antwaun’s estranged wife, Paula Cook, for assisting her husband in alienation of affection, a law recognized in only seven states including North Carolina where the couple and Fantasia resides.

Facing questions before a Mecklenburg County Court judge, the singer, 26, was pressed on whether she knew Cook was living with Paula when the alleged affair began. Although Fantasia acknowledges dating Cook “off and on for about 11 months” she maintains she believed he was separated and living separately from his wife.

Although no reporters were allowed inside the court room, the testimony was confirmed by multiple sources from both Fantasia and Paula’s camp.

At this time Mrs. Cook is said to be distraught after learning the details of Fantasia’s pregnancy.

It’s also reported that Fantasia and Antwaun Cook are still dating.

Life & Style magazine caught up with  ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak who finally admits she’s expecting a baby with  boyfriend and defensive end for the Atlanta Falcons, Kroy Biermann, 25.

“I was surprised! While it wasn’t planned, God clearly has a bigger and better plan for us and we’re excited,” Says Kim, 32.

Back in October Kim denied the rumor after a friend revealed she was pregnant while still in the early stages of her pregnancy, she says, “I was appalled and disgusted by that. I wasn’t through my first trimester — you never know what could happen.”

Although Kim and Biermann have only been dating since May, the Atlanta housewife says, “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”

This will be the third child for Zolciak who already has two daughters, ages 13 and 9, from a previous marriage.

The 2010 American Music Awards debuted last night, Sunday night, and I must say the show was pretty good.

Has marriage become obsolete? That would be a yes, according to 40% of  Americans. In a recent TIME Magazine article focusing on the transformative trends of the past 50 years, a nationwide survey conducted by the Pew Research Center suggests that there has been a sharp decline in marriage and a rise of new family forms that have been shaped by attitudes and behaviors that differ by class, age and race.

This is certainly an interesting topic to explore since marriage success rates are now at a 50 percentile. Let’s think about for a second, what exactly has changed?  Has our roles as men and women changed, and if so, how has that affected the way we view marriage?
