Space/Time for Writing
This is yet another general note that the upcoming week here might be a bit slow on the blog; despite at least a dozen stories that I'd like to post about – from the robotic invasion of a British village, to a reef made from subway cars, to the archaeology of chemical warfare in north Wales – I'm in the final stretch of writing the BLDGBLOG Book and so I really need to focus on offline writing for the next ten days. But I've said that before.
The book is coming along well, for what it's worth; once it's done, copyedited, and off to the designers, I'd love to talk more about the process of putting it together: what's in it, why, and how it was written.
Till then, it's time to work...

this takes a few hours. Thanks!

I used to go past that chemical warfare place every day to work. I am going to investigate when I get the chance. Thanks for the tip.
(And looking forward to seeing this book!)
