Tree slices are a great way to add that rustic flare to your wedding decor. I have alot of cherry wood slices that are about 11" in diameter and about 1 1/2"-3" thick that would make great table centerpieces. I have listed the price point for each slice in multiple purchase brackets below:

1-5 : $20
6-10: $18
11-15: $16

Each slice will be sanded and polyurathaned. Please see pictures to get an idea of how they will look. Depending on the size order it may take up to 3 weeks to finish. I am also willing to sell these as is for less if you are up to the challenge of finishing them yourself. I also do custom engraving/wood burning on tops or sides. Shipping will be based on order size and location. PLEASE CONVO ME FIRST BEFORE PURCHASING!

My tree slice cake stands have been featured in Southern Wedding Magazine (November 2009)!

NOTE:

I obtain log slices from naturally new down trees that have intact bark and no rot. I sell the slices as is with no treatment in them. When I say treatment I do not mean topcoat but PENTACRYL which is a compound that keeps green logs from cracking and is a commonly used method with woodworkers. You can see more information about the product at http://www.preservation-solutions.com/faq-pentacryl.php.

The solution is quite expensive and the process is very time consuming as the slices must be submerged in the solution and dried out. However, if you are intending on keeping the slice for a long time this may be a good idea.

A no expensive method is freeze drying which is one method I recommend. It helps slow the drying process of the slice if you do not intend to use it for awile and keeps it from cracking dramatically, but may incur checks which are small cracks. Also I can kiln dry the slice as this too helps with the cracking. f you are interested in the PENTACRYL or kiln dry method please convo me to discuss.
