Buddy, can you spare me a 'click?'

Everyone has a hand out, it seems. I'm not the exception.

I'm in a contest. By just clicking this link, you can help me win it:

It is a pretty good story, I think. Who knew that the Rio Grande River was the 7th most endangered in the world? I didn't. And, of course, some rich guy wants to buy it to sell somewhere else.

But if you click the link, you can read it for yourself.

And, thanks a lot of helping me out. I'll let you know if I win.

What kind of crap policy is that... 'right of capture'. Sounds about like how they dealt with runaway slaves.

Good thing they don't think that way here in the Great Lakes State. What, Texans believe use it up until it runs dry?

LOL...now tell us how you REALLY feel about it. Seriously, I loved your comment. Texas is really a unique state (I hope!). "Runaway slaves"...omg. Thanks, Big Mark! [Thanks for the click, too.]

I clicked. I'll go back and read thoroughly, a lot of info there! I love the Rio Grande. As you know I hang around those parts that run though New Mexico. I did a story about some of the journeys I made dowen that way. The water level has been low for years due to many factors.

Count me in to pay attention and get the facts.

Peace.

Any time I hear of this sort of thing, I just scratch my head--not only because of the proposed lunacy, but also for the assumption that the world is so overrun with chumps no one will see through it.

Thanks, Billie, for proving that's not so--and many prayers and well wishes that you and your allies will prevail!

Tim

Yeah Billy it has been in trouble for years because of control issues by everyone along its route. I just tried to check your story out but AV is down so I will try later.
