The militant, anti American fundamentalists at the Crystal Cathedral in California have spent so lavishly that they are in bankruptcy proceedings (Hat Tip: I Can't Believe It's Not a Democracy). Apparently, they are trying to work through the bankruptcy and reorganize like any other business. Hopefully, they won't make it.
The article says that lots of megachurches are in financial trouble. It couldn't happen to a nastier and viler bunch of people. I wonder if their counterparts in Al Qaeda are as financially irresponsible.

And Ayatollah, it could look pretty as a restaurant or mini convention center too. Just noting that there are many higher and better uses for the cathedral.
