This coming Monday the commission will play host to a one-of-a-kind event in federal government. We’re calling on coders, programmers and developers of all stripes to join us at FCC headquarters for our first ever Open Developer Day. This will be a rare opportunity for developers in the public and private sectors to join forces. Yeah, I think it's my pick, too. You can hear in late NSync stuff (especially, to my mind, "Gone") that he was already writing this material. I keep meaning to do a roundup of all the "Cry" derivatives, from his own "What Goes Around..." to Madonna's "Even the Devil..." to Rihanna's "Rehab" etc.

One of the best things about being at Six Apart is it was a place where I got to work with a talent like you. Can't wait to see what's next.

Hey Rob, the link is fixed. And while I pointed out inaccuracies in the other two linked posts, sorry if I tarred you by association — your post certainly doesn't make any inaccurate assertions. Rather, it's being used as the basis for ridiculous speculation, and that's why I wanted to clarify what the data you presented mean. Thanks for appreciating the spirit in which my feedback was intended — in this case the "you" I'm referring to in the title isn't you as a blogger, but rather the others who are using your post as the starting point for unsupported inferences.

I believe this could have been a "Takeover" rather than an ethering, but we will let it stand in this case.

Yeah, I wasn't striving to be comprehensive here, but I'm a big fan of the Arc90 folks and of Readability, and they've definitely been pioneers in this kind of experience as well.

From our friends at Code for America comes exciting news about how they're using ThinkUp! In partnership with Expert Labs and Next American City, we are working to generate a playbook for Open Cities — a sense of what works and what doesn’t. We are looking for success stories, initiatives, or opportunities for local governments to become more transparent, participatory, efficient, and inclusive. And we’re not just interested in the newest iPhone apps or websites; we want to know how cities are leveraging new tools to help the poorest and most vulnerable members of society as well — a topic,...
