i believe in words.
my ability to communicate effectively relies on words daily, hourly.
words rarely fail me but line my spine, support my backbone.
within them, when looped and threaded, woven together like some fine afghan, words can affect an outcome.
words do not change things, but words change people and people change things.

words do not change things, but words change people and people change things.

And you strung those 55 words together quite well Kitty Cat..
Excellent contribution!!
Thanks for taking the time to do this before you left. I feel very honored.
Be safe, and have a Kick-Ass Week-End....G
That picture is way beyond cool!
And we have found an outlet for many years of pent up feelings. I really enjoy these--writing them and reading them. Each week a another piece of the heart.
Great pic.
I love that picture SO much...love it.
And I love your words. I always have.
Words are so important = how they make us FEEL. So true.
The post and the pic together are magnificent! This is 55 literature at its finest. You paint the picture, and then with that last line, you hang it upon the wall, ready for viewing, existing now in its own place. A toast to the power of words and the power of people to embrace them and be changed by them. Wonderful Cat!
High-fives for your 55!!!!!!
Very cool (its Ann H, I went deep undercover...)

The pen is mightier than the sword always forgets this step. Words only count if someone bothers to listen.
Wonderful Words and so perfectly woven together! I love that picture too, it illustrates your words superbly. :)
Cat, I haven't been around lately...busy working. So happy to read you once again though. You never fail to amaze me with your words. Its an honor my dear....

Madonna had a great song called "words"...
Words, they cut like a knife
Cut into my life
I don't want to hear your words
They always attack
Please take them all back
If they're yours I don't want anymore...
Looks like I might have escaped tonight from sharing at AA for my 5th birthday since my dad went into hospital and I will be on visiting duty today
Where would we be without 'em? Up the river and without a word to call that thing you hold to move yourself along!
