~ ITEM: QUEBEC– Yes, It is Corrupt… Why are they so afraid of admitting it?

~ WHAT’S WITH ALL THE WAAH? Muslims get outraged at the drop of a hat, U.S. racialists are outraged at Black Hole niggardly ‘Jigger’; and Quebec is outraged at Maclean’s.. and gets Ottawa MPs to share the tantrum. What gives?

Two things: (1) it’s only OK if we say it, and– (2) truth hurts. Quebec has always been.. er– prone to extra-legal special treatment in-house and with the rest of Canuckistan.. and demanding of special concessions and loot ever since Confederation. But who likes being fairly and publicly labelled a crooked whiny-baby?

The old Rabbie Burns prayer has it “O wad some po’er gift tae gie us, tae see oursel’s as aithers see us.” [ Oh, that God the gift would give us. To see ourselves as others see us. ] Except– that self-knowing might be painful, wounding to our pride and treasured illusions, and require some repenting and amendment of life. For some people, a great deal of life is spent precisely in avoiding such knowledge– at any cost.

Hit Rewind Again

The sad part of the Quebec flap? We’ve spent 100+ years having to deal with the peregrinations of Quebec’s problems, and her politicians on the national scene, and the more recent substitution of the religion of separatism for a busybody form of Catholicism. Worse, if they admit corruption, they might have to clean it up; or admit a helpless addiction to sleaze and slush-funds, which hardly makes other Canadians happy to keep feeding their habit.

Now, Parliament has severely empoodled itself by the wimpish responding to the latest predictable outrage.. over a deliberately provocative magazine cover. It’s not their business to be commenting on a magazine article, and more than it’s the business of the tinpot Marsupial Speech Courts to be regulating thought and words in Canada.

Bad Parliament! Go stand in the corner, and after that write a 500 word essay on why it’s wrong to try and censor free speech because part of the country is run by thin-skinned corruptocrats. ~

Actually, I think the halal-thing should be important for Christians & Jews & any religious non-Muslim. Why should the rest of us eat food blessed and slaughtered according to Islamic ritual– blessed in Allah’s name? Imagine what that means to a convert from Islam, facing death threats, loss of family and friends– and yet to find Western corporations sneaking & cowering before a bossy form of Islam?

Can You Imagine?

Do we suppose Muslims would be happy to bless food slaughtered according to kosher rules, or blessed by Christians in the name of Jesus, the Son of God? Or according to Hindu ritual? What about the Zoroastrians? Right– more one-sided sharia-creep infringing the rights & freedom and choices of everybody else.

Along with the official blind-eye to extremist mosques, child & cousin & polygamous marriage, mistreatment of the blind & guide-dogs by some Muslim taxi-drivers, segregated swimming pools, special diets & facilities in communities & schools and public locations? The insatiably demanding militant Muslims are more equal than you– and want to get even more equaller, until you are under their theocratic law.

Retreat By 1000 Steps

Every time public officials, the police, the courts, and the others we expect to uphold the law bend before bossy and outspoken Islam, a little bit of Canada & the future dies. Corporations like Campbell’s, MacDonald’s, and others seeking to make nice with under the radar halal are admitting guilt, and that they know many of their customers are not impressed with Muslim demands for special treatment.

When we got the all-powerful Wallace, he still had his grapes. We were told the cost, and that we should get him done sooner than later. 6 months later, I got an irritated lecture from the lesbian dog-trimmer on how terrible we were from not getting him de-graped. I figure she was also of that opinion for all dog-owners who did not de-grape dogs, too.

Sorry. He was born with them. The tail isn’t docked either. I figure it’s part of him– and de-naturing and neutering and suchlike seems to have wider political and moral echoes with the wider world– how boys & men are mistreated, masculinity maligned, and true leadership and courage not appreciated by our would-be masters.

In fact, part of the reason that the kick-ass men and women of the blogs & rightosphere are considered so offensive? They act like real men and women– proud, smart, tough, un-neutered, truth-telling, ass-kicking, name-taking.

So the grapes stay. He proudly & regularly cleans them, they wave free in the wind, and Wee Wallace the manly little poodle struts his stuff through the neighbourhood, neither sexing up stranger’s legs nor their dogs, and not overly aggressive due to ‘testosterone-poisoning’… though perhaps looking down his nose at the detesticled neighbour-dogs.

Why? Because the POTUS seems to think money mysteriously arrives from somewhere, or grows on printing presses, and is unfairly hoarded by rich people, corporations, and businesses. So the government only needs to tax it at ever-increasing amounts, and “redistribute” it.

These Ivy League reality-flunkers need to learn Economics 101– and not the Marxist version of the course. Most money is created by doing stuff in the real world. Digging, cutting down, harvesting; farming; turning trees into paper products; turning crops into food or oil into countless products; carrying that stuff all over the place; selling things to others business or to customers; investing in companies that do that stuff; all the way up to companies that make money on whether or not other companies are making money (the stock market).

Out Of Thin Air

For Obama, money comes from somebody exploiting someone somewhere. He’s the great righter of all wrongs, so it’s his semi-divine mission to take the fruits of greedy American labour, and then hand them out to Leftist unions, ACORN, the Palestinians, Democrat voters and politicians, Venezuelan oil companies, or whomsoever the he deems the downtrodden of the moment might be.

And he can just make things so, by the power of his word & name-brand: Chevy Volt? Best car ever! 15% actual unemployment? Not to worry! Fire car-company execs and cause downturns in GM/ Dodge car sales & closure of successful dealerships? Redistribution! Cash-For-Clunkers? Environmental!

Thing is, whilst less government interference and rules can be good in some ways, a positively pro-unemployment anti-business government attitude on the part of this White House & economic team is crippling America, and setting up the conditions for a perfect storm of debt & national foreclosure.

The Well Has A Bottom, You Say?

OK, Obama: where will all the loot come from which you and your band of merry liberals think you can redistribute forever and ever? Liberals love spending other people’s money– but your vision of America will soon hurt everybody on the government hand-out, from the poorest of the poor up to the giant corporations. And all the foreign aid & U.N. loot & payoffs to terror-states? Gone.

The current American saviour may well prove to be the cruellest enemy of the suffering and the downtrodden at home and abroad that could ever be imagined. He may well be an enemy of American power, wealth, and exceptionalism– but the net effect of crippling America will not be a better, richer, safer world.

THAT some people pay for sex with other people is a fact throughout history and many places; but to involve the moral status of the populace and the government in the same, by including whoredom as a necessary part of the common good? Of course, by using intolerant language like ‘moral insanity’, plainly I’m the judgmental bad guy here, probably just the kind of sanctimonious hypocrite who runs out and parties with hookers*, but publically condemns them the morning after. Like all those bad guys in those movies. That makes me worst of all. Besides, all good feminist-minded people know that heterosexist unions are just legalized prostitution & rape anyway, for perpetuating the corrupt patriarchal class-structure, and keeping women barefoot and pregnant, and legitimate sex-workers ashamed of their unique gifts and contributions to societal well-being and sexual health and spontaneity.

Back To Reality

The real target? Lotsa $$, and norming evil, and de-norming man-woman marriage as one of the building-blocks of everything else.. especially for kids, and their safety & happiness. An awful lot of modern adults are Narcissus-cultists.. and if this ruling stands, a lot of souls are in danger, and a lot of real-world women and kids will get hurt or killed.
