(Sept. 8, 2010) We are proud to announce that the Special Operations Warrior Foundation has earned its fifth consecutive 4-star rating from the nation's leading charity watchdog group, Charity Navigator, for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances. Only 5% of the charities rated by Charity Navigator have received at least FIVE consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Special Operations Warrior Foundation consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America. "This 'exceptional' designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Special Operations Warrior Foundation from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust," said Ken Berger, President and CEO of Charity Navigator.
"Thank you to all of our loyal supporters and donors who made it possible for us to achieve this top-rating," said John Carney, Jr., SOWF President.
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation is very fortunate to receive support from people from across America including individuals, corporations, family foundations, the men and women serving in the military, small business owners, and people participating in events. As a non-profit organization we are non-political and appreciate the support from everyone who wants to assist us with our noble cause. As Americans we all have the right to our own personal viewpoints. We respect those rights and the viewpoints of our supporters do not necessarily reflect the viewpoints of the Foundation.
