Instead of attempting to bring back crazed giant prehistoric bulls or breeding ever larger bullocks, given the increasing frequency of bovine carnage. (Ably being chronicled by The Venerable Mark W.)
I think farmers should be looking instead at decreasing the sizes, I think even a pensioner (The cows favourite target du jour) would have no trouble with even four or five of these little buggers.
You could even put them whole on a family barbeque.
Tiny cow from Cheshire among new Guinness World Records
Swallow, a Dexter cow from Cheshire, stands 33.5in (0.8m) tall from hind to foot - shorter than most sheep. The 11-year-old, who is currently pregnant, has produced nine calves and is described by owner Caroline Ryder as the "nanny of the herd".

They could still gang up on you. What's ruined the cow attack series is this stupid iPhone app called 'cow attack', which occupies most of the top few dozen hits. So I've started covering central European cow attacks instead.
So, if she is a Dexter cow, the other is presumably a Sinister cow?
Or maybe the black cow is normal sized and the brown one is one of these GIANT NAZI COWS that some maniac is breeding? That's what worries me.
@Mark: They could still gang up on you I still think I could take 3 or 4 in a fight. However at todays sizes even one-on-one I'd be outmatched.
@Chuckles: all cows are sinister, follow the link to Mark's place
@Mark :is one of these GIANT NAZI COWS
Noooo, say it ain't so, it's been certified by the Guinness Book of Records, surely Norris McWhirter wouldn't lie to us
@PC, Yes I await each new revelation with eager anticipation (we don't get out much round here..), but judging from his comments at the top, he can't take the heat from the competition, and is taking refuge in a cheap regurgitated franchise brand?
Predictable I suppose, cows and regurgitation.
I have this image of the two above being interviewed, with Sinister saying, 'Moo', and Dexter saying, 'You bastard, I was going to say that!'
This one is small, that one is far away.
Thanks Ted
