Joe, are you still working as a med tech? Help us nonwriters understand if it's true that you can be as prolific, optioned, etc. as you are and still need a day job.
I'm a novelist, author of CHASING THE DEAD (2006) and EAT THE DARK (2007), STAR WARS: DEATH TROOPERS and NO DOORS, NO WINDOWS (2009). My next Star Wars horror novel, STAR WARS: RED HARVEST, is due out in hardcover in December, 2010. Houghton Mifflin is bringing out my first young adult novel, AU REVOIR, CRAZY EUROPEAN CHICK, in the fall of 2011. I'm working on the film adaptation of Ryan Brown's high school football zombie novel PLAY DEAD. Meanwhile I pass the extra hours working as an MRI tech in Hershey, PA. I have two young children who persist in asking me to tell them scary stories and usually let me know when I go too far.
THE SCARY PARENT is a place for all the scary stories my kids ask to hear, plus whatever else might be interesting on any given day.

That is a very cool cover. The red really grabs your eyes.
However, I have to admit that the cover of Death Troopers is more iconic.
Nonetheless I think this is very cool news and I hope you get the same narrator for Red Harvest that worked on Death Trooper. He was good.
Ummm . . . Red Harvest is coming out on audio book, yes?
