Palin for President -- Here We Go!

Via Politico:
Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin gave her strongest indication yet that she may run for president Wednesday night, saying she would jump into the race if “nobody else were to step up” with the proposals she wants to see.
Palin’s recent trip to Iowa has increased speculation that she may run for the Republican nomination in 2012, and she has seemed more open to the possibility in recent interviews.
Asked by Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren what “would be a reason to run” during an interview Wednesday night, Palin laid out her criteria:
“A reason to run is if nobody else were to step up with the solutions that are needed to get the economy back on the right track and to be so committed to our national security that they are going to do all that they can, including fighting those on the extreme left who seem to want to dismantle some of our national security tools that we have in place,” Palin said.
“If nobody else wanted to step up, Greta, I would offer myself up in the name of service to the public,” Palin added. “But I also know that anybody — anybody — can make a huge difference in this country without a title, without an office, just being out there as an advocate for solutions that can work to get the country on the right track. And that's where I am now.”
The National Post is a little less than enthused about the prospect:Well, gee, sure. And it’s a good thing, too. It wouldn’t be much of a race if there was a Democrat candidate, presumably President Obama, and no Republican to challenge him. It would be pretty weird if that happened — 300 million people in the U.S. and not one of them willing to accept the job of Republican candidate? Not even Bob Dole?
So it’s good of Palin to put herself out there. And we’re pretty sure she means it.
...
It’s unlikely (though not impossible) that Palin would win the Republican nomination. But she could succeed, like O’Donnell, in splitting the party to such an extent she helps Mr. Obama gain a second term.
So if you’re Mitt Romney, you better do some fast stepping up. Or you’re going to find Sarah Palin already blocking the stairs.
So, while we wait to see if she will make an official declaration, lets watch her first 2012 Presidential Campaign Video...I mean, Tea Party support video.

If by some strange cosmic fluke this train wreck gets elected, first thing, I'm joining the rest of you and heading to Canada. She will easily set this country back 50 years. She'll have all women out in the woods hunting for food while the men folk sit on the sofa, watch football and fart! What a beautiful picture.

I am not American and I disagree with this. A person who likes to hunt wolves that are near extinction from a helicopter should not be someone perceived as a leader. A person who poses with a dead animal she has just hunted, with a child beside her, should not be someone perceived as a leader.

It is really hard for me to believe that there are people out there that listen to this nut job. I guess it's like I have always heard "There is someone for everybody"

Did she learn that Central America is not Kansas? That apartheid is not a headache remedy? I say let her run. Run Sarah, RUN!

So does that mean Palin has learnt that AFRICA is not a country already? You guys cannot allow her to win. It would be a laughing stock. I feel sorry for Obama, it sure ain't easy to pull the country out of the recession. Anyone in his shoes would be having a hard time dealing with it.
