The whole world is watching as in Chile, the 33 miners are being rescued after spending more than two months under the ground. One-by-one they are emerging via a capsule that is being sent up and down to carry them to the surface.
The miners agreed to write a book about how they spent 69 days under the ground. One of the trapped miners - the shift supervisor - said that he had read the survival guide book by Luis Urzua which really helped him keep his men calm and ration their food, before contact was made with the outside world. "We also were working out, which really helped our bodies and and kept our spirits up;" he added, - "although it's an interesting question: If you were trapped half a mile underground, would you work out or say the hell with it?"
Photoshop what objects may be trapped, hidden, or located under the ground.

Mr. Potato Head turned 60 this year. Brooklyn-born toy inventor George Lerner came up with the idea of inserting small, pronged body and face parts into fruits and vegetables to create a "funny face man."
Lerner would often take potatoes from his mother's garden and using various other fruits and vegetables as facial features, he would make dolls with which his younger sisters could play. The grape-eyed, carrot-nosed, potato-headed dolls became the principal idea behind the plastic toy which would later be manufactured.
Mr. Potato Head was first put out by Hasbro, but only the parts, not the body. Yes, the original had you sticking things into real potatoes!
That's why the toy proved controversial - with the war and food rationing a recent memory for most Americans, the use of fruits and vegetables to make toys was considered irresponsible and wasteful.
Hasbro started selling it with the body only in the 60s.
To celebrate 60th birthday of Mr. Potato Head, photoshop it any way you wish.
Many thanks to Kellie for the contest concept.

October 11 is National Coming Out Day in the United States.
This special day is celebrated by lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities and their supporters. This day was established in 1988 with a gay and lesbian parade in Washington DC, where some half a million people participated. Despite the name, this holiday is observed not just in the United States but also internationally. United Kingdom celebrates this day on October 12.
In celebration of National Coming Out day, photoshop celebrities (and politicians, famous characters) as gays, lesbian, or transgender (changing their gender). We are sure there are so many of them than just can't wait to come out of the closet - let's help them. Note: by "celebrities" (in this contest as well as in any other FN celebrity contest), we normally mean any human celebrity, famous person (historical, etc.), fictional characters (Yoda, Shrek), figures from famous works of art (e.g. Mona Lisa, Venus De Milo), so don't be afraid to use them. Please make sure your entries are Safe For Work.

On Thursday, October 13, 2010, there have been many videos posted on UFOs flying over Manhattan, New York. Some are saying weather balloons, others are saying they do not know. So far it seems that there has been no positive identification on these objects.
Create UFO evidence any way you wish. Some examples are: including UFO photos or placing Unidentified Flying Object in famous photos or paintings.
