tim ireland threatsThe Bedfordshire on Sunday newspaper had a piece this week about the stalker and infamous, unhinged, leftie smearer, Tim Ireland. Entitled, "Cops investigate MP stalker claim", the story reads:

Police are looking into a complaint of stalking and harassment made by Conservative MP Nadine Dorries.

MP Nadine Dorries, the member for Mid Bedfordshire, contacted police relating to an incident at a packed public meeting in Flitwick, which took place just before the General Election in 2010.

At the event Mrs Dorries objected to the presence of a blogger, Tim Ireland, who was also filming the evening.

The pair were involved in a public discussion after which Mrs Dorries stunned an audience of around 200 by leaving the platform.

The whole ten-minute dispute was posted on the video website YouTube and is still available for viewing.

Mr Ireland, who previously insisted to BoS that Mrs Dorries' claims to have filed a complaint about him were untrue, confirmed he had been interviewed by police in connection with the issue.

On his blog he said: ‘It turns out there is, at present, a police investigation. Police had not contacted me about it until yesterday (January 19).

‘It relates specifically to the hustings event at Flitwick. There is no crime reference number for this as yet, because there is no crime.

‘I was perfectly happy to speak with police and answer their questions (and I still am), but there is very little I can share publicly about it at this stage.

‘Dorries made her accusation about there being an investigation in progress at a time when no relevant police force can confirm her ever having made a complaint. I still intend to hold her to account for that.'

Abu Sayyaf flagging?

abu swayyafThe city of flowers that is Zamboanga enjoys the best sunset I have ever seen even if the coffee house from which I am enjoying it - outside the local Citimall - sits beside a busy road full of cars and tuk-tuks belching out lung-deforming, insidious, black smog. This place does a better apple pie than Simpson's but I assure you that any breeze off the Strand (save perhaps the stink of an anti-capitalist protest) is preferable to a Zamboanga gassing.

There are a million inhabitants living here in this city on what is the southernmost tip of the Zamboanga peninsula on the Philippine island of Mindanao. Foreigners are notably scarce here - the occasional mail-order quickie marriage buyer (more heart than head) or call-centre businessman (car window open) passes by. Any foreign adventurers rarely hang around for fear of getting snatched off the street, kidnapped and likely beheaded.

Mention you're off to Mindanao whilst in Luzon (the main island of the Philippines, where the capital Manila is located) and Filipinos there either smile or plead with you not to go depending on how much they really like you. Although there are many Westerners living and working on Mindanao - mostly up north in Cagayan and safer spots - there is the omnipresent danger of the Al Qaeda-aligned terrorist entity Abu Sayyaf coming down from their mountain hide-outs and nabbing you. Best to travel round here with local individuals you can trust and inside a blacked out MPV. Even when you step outside of your vehicle for what is locally known as a comfort break your bodyguards will accompany you - certainly no time to choose trees. It is best to quaff frappuccino in the safety of one's hotel or in a coffee house such as this with its vigilant guards and their coarse but no doubt effective pump-action shotguns.

Though this frappuccino and the people of Zamboanga are lovely (as are the vast majority of Filipinos who are fun-loving and most decent folk) they have lived alongside these dark menaces - the Abu Sayyaf jihadis - for quite some time now.

Hizb ut Tahrir stirs up gay hate

gay hateThe Islamist extremist sect Hizb ut Tahrir al Islami is using its British propaganda arm to stir up gay hatred in an effort to attract UK recruits.

A former Hizb ut Tahrir member with connections inside the sect claims that HT's UK leadership sees publicly portraying homosexuality as "evil" is drawing recruits through its doors. And since Hizb ut Tahrir Britain is not an official political party (claiming that British democracy is too unislamic to partake in) its anti-gay and lesbian policy means it is safe from British equality laws and British law enforcers.

Top of Hizb ut Tahrir Britain's web stories today is a story about how young children in Britain are to be taught about homosexuality in their maths, geography, science and English lessons. The article explains how planned Government lesson plans are designed to raise awareness about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual issues and how "in theory they could be used for children as young as four".

The Hizb ut Tahrir forum is full of anti gay material.

Hizb ut Tahrir activist Neelu drops links to a Washington Times article in 2007 about a lawsuit in the US Supreme Court claiming that the words "natural family, marriage and union of a man and woman" can be punished as "hate speech" in US government workplaces. Neelu gets what he wants ...

In reply to Neelu a senior member called Zangi writes, "for some reason the homosexuals have a strong political lobby and what makes me angry is that they keep pushing and forcing down you the rights of these evil people. It is a sobering thought that the queers have a strong political lobby to the point that they can change laws and regulations and public opinion to suit them."

The EDL is utterly pointless

The recent 7/7 inquiry has been truly eye-opening. Endless accounts of extraordinary bravery and selflessness on behalf of members of the British public and the emergency services. The kind of Blitz heroism you heard from your grandparents or read about in war books come to life again. These heroes deserve a shower of praise and are a credit to Britain.   If the Islamist nutters wanted chaos and retaliation as consequences of...

I have been bombarded of late by a series of emails purported to be from supporters of the troubled blogger Tim Ireland of Bloggerheads. Last chance for Stalker Tim Ireland

When I went to boarding school I was unfortunate enough to end up in a house where there was a bully in my year. Doubly unfortunate, the bully had the bed next to mine so that the first thing I saw in the mornings was his ugly mug less than a metre away across the dormitory. One gets on with life - so did I. The bully had come up from my boarding school's junior...

Journal Restructuring

In September 2010 the Westminster Journal concludes the moving of its centre of operations to New York. This is partly due to England's often senseless libel judgements and partly because of a restructuring of the journal under a corporation of new writers. After three years we decided it was time to make some changes. Though we are still called the Westminster Journal and our focus will remain British, New York is the journal's new home. The...

In the Guardian this weekend was a fluffy, myopic piece about Venezuela written by some left-wing student, named Pablo Navarrete, who has done some jobbing for the New Statesman's John Pilger and spent some time in Venezuela a few years ago. Uganda Wakes Up

Uganda has finally woken up and seen the light. Uganda has indicated it will sensibly bow to international pressure and amend draconian anti-homosexual legislation that includes the death penalty for HIV-positive people convicted of having gay sex. This controversial bill was put forward by a member of the ruling party in Uganda. Uganda's president, Yoweri Museveni, said the bill had become a "foreign policy issue" and needed further consultation before being voted on in parliament. The proposed law, which...

2009 Closes

So 2009 ends with Al Qaeda’s version of the Nutcracker - the Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab stuffing explosives in his underpants and trying, but failing, to take down a transatlantic airliner as it descended into Detroit. Giving Mutallab seat 19A at Schiphol was a mistake that should lead to repaired airline security strategies. Homeland Security agencies worldwide have naturally stepped up their vigilance in case there are any other nut-exploding nutters out there with the same thing in...

HSBC MAKES GRAVE ERROR

Extreme Islamism - like all political movements - requires cash. Those who pay extreme Islamists are at best helping to further bigoted, Flintstone ideas and, at worst, they are directly funding Islamist terrorism. Since Islamists often show two faces to get what they want (in an uneducated misinterpretation, they justify this as taqiyya) a good lesson is to never pay an Islamist, whether you think he or she is an extremist or not. Not a penny. Remember that...

Leftist Tools

Left-wing extremists in the United Kingdom are gaining new recruits by exploiting the ennui resulting from 60 years of prosperity and decadence. This ennui is also driving a resurgence in recruitment and radicalisation activity by "whiter" supremacist groups, pro government extremists and egalitarian movements. Continuing racial and gender disparities in outcomes, mass consumerism during a prolonged period of peace, and other consequences of contrived intra-white status jockeying, intensified by the increasing cognitive stratification of the last 30 years, seems to be...
