R.I.P. Sir Bobby Robson

BERJAYA

Sir Bobby Robson, football hero, true grit old Brit and personification of the perfect English gentleman has died aged 76.

BERJAYA

Right up until to just five days ago, terminally ill, Sir Bobby was still working hard to raise funds for his national Cancer appeal.

Today, the world is a poorer place without such a super man.

May Sir Bobby rest in perfect peace. Since this most marvelous man has most certainly earned it.

Look at a little of what's been written.

Robson, who was first diagnosed with cancer 18 years ago in 1991, fought a brave battle against the disease. He beat bowel cancer in 1992, a malignant melanoma in 1995 and a tumour in his right lung and a brain tumour, both in 2006.

In 2007 he vowed to "battle as I've always done" following the start of chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with cancer for the fifth time.

He made his final public appearance at a charity match at St James' Park on Sunday.

Southampton F.C. ; Soccer Scumbags or What ?

*

From Southampton F.C., here's one of their players, Nathan Dyer. He's paid approximately £5,000 ($10,000) per week by Southampton F.C. for his 'professional services'.

BERJAYA

Here's one of his best-buddy, team-mates, Bradley Wright-Phillips. Incidentally, you may be interested to discover that the same Southampton F.C. stick around £8,000 ($16,000) into this young man's mitts each week.

BERJAYA

And here's a couple of young working class girls who have to 'slave' for around the UK minimum wage of £5.50 ($11.00) per hour.

BERJAYA

So, you should be asking by now, what's the connection?

Well, we'll tell you what - as we do what we always do in sad & sorry cases as sickening as this - we'll name 'em and shame 'em -- without charging our readers so much as a single, solitary sixpence.

Mega-rich footballers laughed and joked as they joined in the looting of handbags belonging to £5.50-an-hour barmaids who had spent the night serving them cocktails.

These sickening images show how £8,000-a-week Bradley Wright-Phillips finds it funny watching his £5,000-a-week Southampton team mate Nathan Dyer and three pals go through the girls' bags.

(snip)

Cctv images clearly show them rifling through handbags, coats and purses before exiting through a private back door after enjoying a free night watching R&B superstar Kano.

Their haul included three mobile phones, £145 in cash from three different handbags, student cards and even cigarettes.

It takes a barmaid at the club a week-and-a-half to earn that £145, but that's what Wright-Phillips - son of ex-England star Ian Wright - earns in just 27 MINUTES.

The shameful incident has been reported to Hampshire Police.

Yesterday barmaid Emma Parker, 18, whose phone was stolen, said: "It's pathetic. I work for just over the minimum wage but they earn thousands a week.

"I can't believe they would have the cheek to steal from someone like me. They are arrogant beyond belief to do this. They have obviously done it for kicks because they don't need the money. They have acted in a really callous way.

"They are treated like heroes but this shows they are actually scumbags."

Well, you got that right Emma dear, we could NOT agree with you more.

(Though we'd have said something stronger - such as, lousy lowlife louses.)

Read the rest of this shameful story right here.

Incidentally, we'll be sure to stay on this while we wait to see what Southampton F.C. do about this scandal.

Likewise, any (connected in any way), corporate sponsors inadvertently caught up in all this shit.

We'd suggest you do the same. Moreover, maybe you'll feel it it's a good idea to get on to them personally, as soon as possible.

Quite clearly (and boldly), emblazoned on the backdrop to both of the photos we published at the beginning of this piece - are two extremely well known business-big-boys. (Flybe.com and Carlsberg)

Now ... nudge-nudge, wink-wink.

Understand what we're saying? Know what we mean? Grasped what we're getting at? Cottoned on to our recommendation?

And don't forget the well heeled, head-shebangs at the famous football club's headquarters.

Some Liverpool Football Fans In Athens Shame All Civilised Scousers ...

BERJAYA
We suppose that every sizable city anywhere in the world is saddled, to a certain degree, with a small section of shitheads it would rather disavow/disown than embrace as 'brothers'.

To which end, witness what we recently received in our in-tray from a good Greek blogger buddy, Dimitris.

It's in connection with the European, championship football final played out earlier this week in Athens, by Liverpool and Milan.

dear rich

i wonder if you are interested to have e look here:

not a pretty sight dear

anyway i thought u migth be interested

have a lovely day

dimitris / manifestogr

While much of Manifestogr content will probably appear 'all greek' to you, you'll have no trouble at all in seeing what we think, and quite clearly say so (in plain English), via Dimitris' comments' section.

And to all & any interested other nationals (where ever in the world you may be), we most sincerely wish to say: Please, please, please believe us -- the vast majority of Liverpudlians are NOT like those pitiful plonkers pictured. Nor do they remotely resemble such revolting, repulsive, retarded reprobates.

The truth is that our proud old British maritime city is home to many, many thousands of decent, civilised scouser-citizens -- and certainly not solely drink sodden, sad-sack sorts of simpletons, such as are shown shaming us all.

Moreover, you needn't just take our word for it; you could in fact find out for yourself - first hand - if you cared to come calling (in person), on "Europe's Capital of Culture 2008."

BERJAYA
The warmest of warm welcomes will await you; as always.

We warrant it.
