Mark Kirk's in His Usual Pre-Election Panic

In his last U.S. Congress election, Mark Kirk had supporters tell voters that Kirk supported the Obama agenda. He actually had some people in Mark Kirk t-shirts sporting Obama signs and others in Obama t-shirts sported Kirk signs.

Kirk's doing something similar now. After abandoning a woman's right to choose, LGBT issues, climate change legislation, investment in green industry, high speed rail, jobs and minimum wage and all economic issues to the tea parties and far right republicans who want the country to fail so they can take power, Mark Kirk is now campaigning on how centrist he is.

Kirk says he and only he can move the Senate forward because he's a centrist. Forget about his non-centrist votes against health care, against minimum wage, against the small business bill, for restrictions on abortion and on and on. Forget about his complete inability to get a single bill of his own passed in a decade in Congress. All of the sudden, Kirk is going to save the day and get things done in the Senate.

This is irk's pre-election panic. It happens every election year with him. During most of the election he blamed any of his lesser right wing votes on "the narrow interests of his district". Now, he's a "centrist". Oh please. If elected, he'll go back to pandering to whoever supports him and getting nothing done.
