Obama Administration Requests an Immediate Stay on Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Injunction

As expected, the Obama administration has requested an emergency stay on Judge Virginia Phillips's order to ban enforcement of DADT worldwide. The Department of Justice says it will appeal the ruling, arguing that President Obama prefers an "orderly" legislative repeal. [Politico, CNN]
