I am the co-author, with Linda Lindroth, of the book Virtual Vintage: The Insider's Guide to Buying and Selling Fashion Online, Random House, 2002. I live in Florida with my well-armed husband and three extremely protective sons, as well as several very large and loyal attack dogs and trained-assassin felines.

The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it.
