White Houses and New Yorks

BERJAYAI'm in New York on a quick trip to judge the White House Redux competition, and I can't wait to see the somewhat staggering 430 design entries that the contest received. I'll report back ASAP about what we've seen.
But will it be Greek temples or concentration camps? Another single-family residence – or something more like a college dorm? A domed complex of subterranean tunnels leading north to Baltimore? Or a well-tethered network of hot air balloons? A greenhouse?
What will the next White House be?
No matter the outcome, thanks to everyone who's participated. I'm really looking forward to this...

are you judging in 7 WTC?
there is a crazy ring aroung a floor of the building, and my friend asked a security guard what was happening and he said a white house competition.

That was us - we were up on the 45th floor. The whole floor was donated by the property managers.

You could actually see the competition from blocks and blocks away because we taped all 430 competition entries up on the windows, inside; there were thus thousands of white rectangles on view from outside all day. It was fun.

I'll post more about it soon.
