BLDGBLOG in Philadelphia

BERJAYAApologies for the lack of real posts over the past week or more – but now nearly a week of travel is about to set in, making it hard to post. However, I will also now be giving a talk this week, on Friday, March 21, at 3:30pm, at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Architecture. The talk is in Meyerson Hall, on the second floor, in something called the Dean's Alley. It's intended for Ph.D. students at Penn – but it's free and open to the public, so I'd encourage non-Ph.D. students (and non-students) to come.
I'll be discussing "landscape futures" – focusing on material that I've been editing for The BLDGBLOG Book.
Unbeknownst to many, meanwhile, Philadelphia is the birthplace of BLDGBLOG – so it will be interesting to revisit its origins.
Hope to see some of you there!

For posts older than a few days,

comments have to be moderated;

this takes a few hours. Thanks!

html is both okay and encouraged.

I had no idea. The City Desk definitely wouldn't have existed were it not for this weird city.
