Your election means so much to me personally. I am biracial (African American and White) as well and your candidacy and election will heal this country and many conflicts in all of us as well. I also have never been as proud to be an American as I am now, and I feel that finally this IS my country. Thank you for these photos and everything you already have and will do for this amazing country of ours!!!!

I love this picture. It could have been taking in millions of homes across the country. My family sat with a similar focused anticipation watching the results. We shared in the gravity of the moment and the intesity of the outcome. I am proud to have a country that has risen to such great committment and a president elect who represents the a true picture America.

I fell in love with the Obama family when I saw them on tv last winter. It's a joy to see these photos and will be a joy to watch the girls grow up.
