KABUL — Seven US soldiers and an Afghan man running for the nation’s parliament have been killed in a wave of attacks this weekend in some of Afghanistan’s most volatile regions, authorities said Sunday.
About eight civilians and 15 militants were also killed in separate incidents linked to Taliban and counter-insurgency operations across the troubled nation on Saturday, the military alliance said.

Three US soldiers were killed fighting insurgents in two separate battles in eastern parts of the country on Saturday, the alliance’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a statement.
It was not known if they died in the same fighting in which the insurgents were killed.

I noticed that the corporate media does not speak about all these troops dying in Afghanistan. Why is that? Are the scared that the public will start paying attention.

Because dying in war is illogical thats why and they are afarid to wake up those sleeping, thats why mainstream does not talk about it.

That is because there is no more “boogie man” in Afghanistan. Our Americans are dying for vague reasons, but many reports are pointing towards the opium drug trade. That doesn’t seem to rally too much support.

How many innocent people who have nothing to do with war have died?
It has reached a point where dead soldiers does not affect me anymore.
Like a formula one pilot they know what they are getting in no? or do they know?????
Wake up good people in the military, your family does not deserve to see you die for war that has been a lie since the very begining.

No jobs, can’t afford an education, need health care, where do they go? Into the military, they get 3 hots and a cot, and if they get blown away, a real great send off with guns,flags, and even a bugle….Want to end war? send the children of the scum bags in Washington and the corporations who profit from war to the front lines first.

Let’s see how patriotic the sabre rattlers are in government, banks and especially media. Part of deal in selling their soul to the devil should be that their first born have mandatory inscription in our military and in the event of combat, be in the first wave. How fast would the truth be uncovered then?
