Dan Drezner tweets quite a postcard coming back from Ramallah to Jerusalem:

Also, Dahlia Rabin was detained by Israeli security as we tried to leave Ramallah. She was NOT happy about this.

Even more sacrilege, he tweets that the hummos in Ramallah is better than that at the King David Hotel.

Perhaps an independent blue ribbon bipartisan blogger group should be deployed to go over and do a systematic study of this....

the real east-west hummus contest would be between Pinati's (just off the Midrehov on King George) and Abu Shukri (a hundred meters or so into Damascus Gate, at the left fork.)

Both places come with just the right tone of service ... I'm a journalist, so I won't reveal my preference.
