New Guitar Hero Packed With Soundgarden’s Greatest Hits

The first one million copies of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock will come bundled with Telephantasm, a 12-song greatest hits compilation from Soundgarden, Activision said Tuesday.
The record will feature songs from all of Soundgarden’s albums and EPs. Also included will be “Black Rain,” a lost track that was recorded during the grunge band’s 1991 Badmotorfinger recording sessions.
All the songs on Telephantasm will be available as playable downloads when Warriors of Rock launches.
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, due out September 28 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, is the sixth official sequel in Activision’s long-running series of music games.
Soundgarden reunited in 2010 after a 12-year hiatus. The band will play the Vic Theater in Chicago on August 5 and will headline the massive Lollapalooza fest in the same town on August 8.
