Please note that the About, Advertise, and Contact pages now actually have stuff in them. How cool is that?!?

Reappropriate Joins the Twitterverse
July 2nd, 2010
Those of you who know me personally know that this is actually — to appropriate a phrase from our esteemed Vice President — a big fuckin’ deal.
I have just joined Twitter. Expect hell to freeze over momentarily.
My Twitter account is accessible here. I’m also doing more regular updates of my Facebook page. Both links have been added to the sidebar. You can follow or friend either of these accounts to receive regular updates of new posts on this blog.
And to those of you Twitter-savvy folks in the race and Asian American blogosphere: whom do you think I should be following?
Also, on an unrelated note, the email button at the bottom of each post has been removed because it doesn’t appear to actually email anything. Currently searching for a replacement plugin.
New Theme. Almost.
June 26th, 2010
I’ve been working on a new theme for the blog for the last couple of days, and it’s now functional enough to be used instead of the other theme (although some formatting remains to be done).
If you are having problems viewing this new theme, please leave me a comment describing the problem. Please include your browser and your screen resolution. A screen capture will also help me resolve the problem.
Thanks for your patience!
Pardon my dust…
June 24th, 2010
If you click on the site and see a very random looking layout, that’s because I’m currently working on a new theme, and am finding the “Preview” option in Wordpress unwieldy. I will turn the old theme back on when I’m done.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Update: Done for the day. Will continue tomorrow.
“Like” Information Reset
May 3rd, 2010
I installed a Facebook “like” button on posts a week or two ago. I noticed today that the plugin was throwing an error when I updated it. I think I’ve managed to get it working again, but it has lost all of the previous “like” information on earlier posts. My apologies — please re-like any posts that you liked before, so that we can retrieve the lost information.
The English in that last paragraph is terrifying because it seems incorrect, yet it makes absurd, post-millennial sense.
Helping Facebook Take Over the World
April 23rd, 2010
I’ve added a “Like” button to each blog post that will allow you to “like” posts, just like you can on Facebook. Try clicking it. You know you want to…
Migrated!
April 19th, 2010
The site has been migrated to a dedicated server and you are once again free to post comments.
If you posted a comment this weekend, your comment may have been lost during the migration. Please re-post.
Apologies for any inconvenience!
Share Reappropriate!
December 1st, 2009
At the behest of electroman, I have installed Sociable, a Wordpress plugin that adds sharing options to each post. You should now see below each post a little icon allowing you to share each item by email, over Twitter, and on Facebook. I’ve also included del.icio.us and StumbleUpon, which I think are fairly popular services.
However, please let me know if you want to add sharing to another social networking site or service, such as Mixx or MySpace. I’m happy to add those functions if they are also being used by you guys. Sociable has a long list of services it supports, which can be checked on its website.
Recent Posts and Comments Widget
October 12th, 2009
Dearest readers,
Please note that there is now a widget for Recent Comments and Recent Posts on the right-hand sidebar! Hope that makes your navigation on this site easier!
Updated theme
September 30th, 2009
I updated the theme for the blog, but with only a few hours to dedicate, all I did was hack the default theme. Sorry this theme isn’t as visually dynamic as others I’ve done; I just needed to get rid of that default one.
