Genre: Superhero Comic The long-running series follows the amazing adventures of the most famous web-slinger of all time. Part of Marvel's epic '60s arrival that heralded a new age for comics, the Amazing Spider-Man ended it's run in late 1998, only to be relaunched two months later with the same name, but starting with Amazing Spider-Man #1. That numbering system lastest several years, but reverted back to the original numbering with issue #500.
