The American people don’t want a government takeover of health care
no excuse for bigotry, threats or acts of vandalism and I condemn such things in the strongest possible terms
Regardless of how strongly people feel in opposition to this health care legislation, there's no excuse for bigotry or threats or -- or acts of violence ... We condemn them in the strongest possible terms. The people who engage in that behavior are undermining any cause that they purport to believe in. ...
Let me say that there's no excuse
It’s disappointing to see member of Congress exchange 30 years of pro-life law for a piece of paper from the most pro-abortion president in American history, but we are going to stay in this fight ... We really believe the American public knows now that there is public funding for abortion in this bill.
I think House Republicans are determined to stand for both repealing and replacing Obamacare with an approach that gives Americans more choices instead of more government
This is not the president's House
The American people don't want this government takeover of healthcare. I don't know if they have the votes today, but I guarantee you the American people know they have the votes in November
Some say we're making history. I say we're breaking history
We are going to use every means at our disposal to oppose this government takeover of health care ... Because quite frankly, as thousands gather at rallies all across this country and here in the nation's capital yesterday, you know, the American people are sick and tired of runaway federal spending by ...
Nobody's gonna be fooled by this
any means at our disposal to oppose this government takeover ... Stay tuned. It’s going to be an interesting day.
House Republicans are going to use every means at our disposal
Stay tuned, it's going to be an interesting day.
This weekend will, I believe, mark the end of the liberal ascendancy in Washington, D.C.
I don't know if they have the votes ... We are going to use every means at our disposal to oppose this government takeover of healthcare I believe this is going to be a historic weekend, but I believe it's going to be different than John thinks it will be.
Well, stay tuned, Candy. It’s going to be an interesting day
We are in a decisive minority
This weekend, House Republicans will stand with the American people and do everything in our power to defend their freedom and bring about healthcare reform that gives them more freedom and not more government
Only in Washington, D.C., could you say you're going spend $1 trillion and save the taxpayers money ... This Congress is poised to ignore the will of the majority of the American people. This is the people's House, and the people don't want a government takeover of healthcare.

I don’t know … whether victory will come on the third Sunday in March or on the first Tuesday in November, but victory will come
I'm sure the favor factory is in full tilt, but they're not there yet ... I still think that the bipartisan coalition of Republicans and some Democrats who think we still can do better still have a chance to win this thing and to immediately start over with the kind of incremental, step-by-step reforms ...
I wonder about the constitutionality of it ... But I’m not a constitutional scholar. I know there’s competing ideas on all this. I’m just telling you I don’t know whether it’s constitutional or not, I just know it’s wrong.
@Architekt010 i am leaning towards Mike Pence his leadership during hcr was amazing
