Prepare for insane MP action.
The game's Director speaks!
Sweet, sweet destruction.
The Brians, Ryan, and Anthony find some time to get into the studio this week, taping a little bit longer show in order to appease the hordes who we disappointed last week with our failure to record. OK, OK, we know there aren't hordes, and that you probably didn't even notice we were gone, but we still feel bad about it...kinda.
Join us this week as we talk about Mega Man 10, a little Battlefield Bad Company 2, and read most of the letters you've sent in the past two weeks. Thanks so much to everyone that wrote to us!

Publisher Take-Two Interactive has plenty to smile about after a fiscal first quarter that included surprise hit Borderlands (two million-plus copies sold), NBA 2K10 (two million-plus), and continued strong sales of Grand Theft Auto IV and Carnival Games. But the company's overall financial results are a sobering reminder of the state of the industry: Take-Two reported a $33 million net loss and said it plans a 15% reduction in "corporate headcount." Courtesy of an ESRB posting in mid-February, we learned that a remake of the classic Nintendo football game Tecmo Bowl was real. Now we have confirmation from publisher Tecmo Koei America that Tecmo Throwback will be released on Xbox Live and the PlayStation network this spring. Read More »
The ousting of Call of Duty creators Vince Zampella and Jason West is the punctuation mark on what has thus far been a turbulent 2010 for Activision Blizzard. And based on statements in the publisher's own 2009 annual report, it was a contradictory decision that will have a negative impact on the business. Read More »
Quick, name an Atari 2600 game. Got it? There's a good chance you just identified a title Hollywood wants to adapt into a film. According to the LA Times, movie studios are on an '80s videogame kick, and now they're looking to score with Space Invaders. Hit the jump to avoid alien fire. Read More »
Videogames have been demonized by politicians, misunderstood by parents, confused with movies by developers, and loved by millions of awesome people the world over. So it's really not too surprising that the TV shows that dared to air programming based around the best hobby ever somehow make it seem even more nerdy than it already is. Read More »
PlayStation Network's "The Tester" gives gamers a glimpse into the life of videogame quality assurance testers. Now, two companies want to bring the entire start-to-finish process of developing a videogame to television with a new reality show, "Making the Game." Lights, camera, action after the jump. At some point yesterday a new video hit YouTube purporting to show multiplayer in Bungie's Halo: Reach. There's no way of confirming at this time if the video footage -- which shows some pretty awesome fragging -- is legitimate. A watermark in the bottom-right corner of the movie suggests that the version of the game is still in alpha testing, but it does show off some pretty impressive red versus blue jetpack jumping, hand-to-hand combat and gun-play. Yes, you can see it after the jump. Read More »
Konami may have dropped out of publishing it last April but Atomic Games' shooter based on true events in Iraq is apparently now complete. And according to IGN Games' source, the game will definitely be getting a release. Duck and cover after the break. Read More »
If you're like us, you'll probably never be able to afford a real Viper, so perhaps Atari's newly-announced Test Drive Unlimited 2 will be able to satiate those pedal-to-the-metal urges you've been having. Check out the details and first shots after the jump. Read More »
You can call us pessimists if you like, but in our experience, Konami's attempts to bring its awesome Castlevania franchise into the world of 3D action gaming have been less than stellar. This could all be set to change however. Lords of Shadow was first announced back at last year's E3, and promised to bring whip-cracking action to a European setting stuck in the Middle Ages. Check out these hot new shots of Gabriel Belmont strutting his stuff and tell us that you're not at least hopeful for a good end result. See More »
It was all the way back at gamescom 09 held in Cologne, Germany where we got our first glimpse of Majin and the Forsaken Forest. The upcoming action adventure is being developed by Game Republic in Japan -- an outfit that's been responsible for the PS3 launch title (and flop) Genji, and the rather more successful RPG Folklore. We've posted a new set of images from Majin which seems to be looking rather good -- at least in these shots. The game will couple you with an AI co-op partner, and some might say it's taking a leaf or even a branch from the likes of the PS2 classic title ICO. Stay tuned for closer to the next Tokyo Game Show. See More »
In October 2002, less than a year after releasing the critical and commercial smash Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, project leads Vince Zampella and Jason West, along with 20 others, fled EA-owned developer 2015 to start Infinity Ward. Today, just four months after releasing another critical and commercial FPS juggernaut you may have heard of, Zampella and West find themselves out of a job. Read More »

God of War III picks up where its predecessor left off, lifting the final scenes from God of War II and applying a next-gen sheen. What follows is a recap of my experience with the opening scenes of God of War III as well as an interview with Sony Santa Monica Game Director Stig Asmussen. We discuss the God of War franchise, what we can expect from the final entry in the trilogy, and much more. Read More »
Citing recent defilement of his iconic text, the rotting, angry corpse of the deceased Italian poet created a hauntingly rhythmic couplet of a new kind in the form of a furious button-mashing death rattle from beyond the afterlife. Can you hear that, EA?
