happy new year!! help us make ours great!
we have been dreaming about making a video and putting together a vinyl pressing of our recent record Tremble the Sails and the time is now! We have visions of our animated spirit animals banging drums and slaying monsters, but we need your help to make this reality. So, we started a kickstarter campaign. We have some awesome rewards from BB care packages, songs written especially for you, trips to Chuck E Cheese's and rare unreleased demos. Donate what you can and tell your friends! We'll be announcing tour dates soon so we can bring you these records! Thank you thank you.

an eakins masterpiece meets the sails
We are honored and excited to announce the opening of "An Eakins Masterpiece Restored: Seeing The Gross Clinic Anew." Philadelphians know of Eakins "Gross Clinic" and how this city rallied together to keep it here (and out of the hands of Alice "Walmart" Walton. For the last 3 years Mark Tucker of the Philadlephia Museum of Art has been dutifully working to restore this important Philadelphia painting and starting today it is on display at the Museum!! As part of the exhibition a short film featuring music from Tremble the Sails documents the history of the painting, the scandal surrounding it, and the work to restore it. We were happy to lend our songs to this incredible triumph of an arts community. Old philadelphia meets new philadelphia at the Perleman Building from July 24th to January 6th. Go and see this incredible exhibition and listen to Buried Beds bounce off those museum walls!
