A Valentine’s Day Shower
I don’t know why I’m up so early this Sunday morning. Maybe it was the cat jumping on my head at 7:15. Maybe it was the sun streaming in my window.
Or maybe, just maaaaaybe…. it’s the fact that we finished tiling the shower yesterday, and all that’s left is for me to grout the tile, let it set for 20 minutes, and then I can take my first shower since February 4th.
Ya see, grout works best when it’s subject to a slow, wet cure, which means applying a fine mist several times a day for 3-4 day before applying a chemical sealant. And to my mind, the steam from a nice, long, hot, soul-cleansing shower, counts as steam.
Yay us, especially Christina, who did most of the layout and thinset.
