The creepiest movie poster of the year

It's the visual strategy involved in the composition that's brilliant.

You read it in a one-two-three progression.

1. Baby bottle.

2 What's in it.

3.....

My only question is: Does it consume you with a desire to see the movie?

It did, bought it right when i saw it. It is a beautiful, classy poster, something that's exceedingly rare in the horror field lately.

Good God. That's incredibly creepy.

I'm even more unsettled by the fly on top of the nipple.

Wow, you think there are some sentences you'll never type...

Wonderful poster! too bad the movie was such a disappointment (at least for myself)! :(

Though I love this poster, I don't know if I would call it the creepiest movie poster of the year. I loved the movie and it is because of this poster that I went to see it... so I guess, yes, it does consume me with the desire to see it.

Don't think so, Mr. Ebert. It's a very good piece of design, but that's all. By the way, did you see the film?

That poster is gross.

I think the most haunting poster is the Precious poster. I'm speaking of the "Anatomy of a Murder" image with the pointy-fingered hand.

A desire to see the movie? No. A quick search on IMDB will just about do it.

VERY creepy; who gives a baby tomato juice??

My answer would be, absolutelyly. It looks quite interesting, i mean what does a baby bottle has in common with blood? and the fly just creeps me out. Ok, so i just went to imdb to know what it's about and it actually makes a lot on sense, silly me. I'm definately watching this. Thank you Mr Ebert.

there's a whole lotta gestaltin' goin' on in this poster...

The poster is quite fitting with the tone of the film. There's a creepy coldness in style mixed with this really touching maternal love. I had huge problems with the last 20 minutes for shaking off all the creepy build for a quick finish, but it's still a minor gem of a film by an intriguing first time director.

This poster doesn't really give me the desire to do anything except sterilize that bottle. Although I'm intrigued enough to imdb it to see what it's about. I guess it did its job.

is that fly a yoko ono reference?

Ebert: I don't think you're going to be able to score me 100% on my Yoko Ono knowledge.

This poster does nothing to make me want to see the movie. The "LOve. Undying" makes me think it's a chick flick. The baby bottle filled with (what looks like) blood AND the Sundance logo makes me think it's just some pretentious self-indulgent film school project with a bigger budget.
It's not creepy. It's like the perfume commercials at Christmas. Moakes no sense, but appeals to people who like to think they are superior by finding "sense" in it.
Good God, what's next? White background with black lettering: MOVIE
ooooh - understated!
Seriously Mr. Ebert.

Best horror poster since Adam Green's previous film "Hatchet"! He is the next Sam Raimi/George Romero/Tom Savini, all rolled into one! He deserves all the future fame he shall garner!
