Small update.  I’m inundated with work and am seriously pining for the holiday vacation, but alas me must carry on.  I also somehow managed to pull an intercostal muscle badly enough to require a Naproxen scrip, so I haven’t been able to climb for just over two weeks now.  Instead, I took my camera to the gym last night and snapped a few shots of some of our climbing group.

Lighting was terrible, both in terms of intensity and colour temperature.  Good thing I shoot RAW, as it helps when dealing with mixed light sources; I had to use ISO 1600 for most of the captures.

No, I’m not dead.  Sorry for the dearth of updates lately, but I’ve been nearly out of commission due to the Hacking Cough Of Chunky Goodness.  I’ve been keeping up with my Photo A Day submissions, although at the time of writing there are five photos remaining to be processed and posted.

I’ve downloaded the official Beta release of Windows 7, Microsoft’s upcoming successor to Windows Vista.  It took a while to get a product key, as Microsoft’s servers were getting slammed so hard with requests that the entire Beta offer was ‘paused’.
