Ryan Clements: There's no game out there that's quite like Flower. A beautiful, brilliant, touching effort from thatgamecompany, Flower is a downloadable game that everyone should experience. Players take control of the wind on which a cloud of flower petals wafts, guiding those petals through surreal puzzles and ethereal dreamscapes. Playing Flower for the first time was a very special moment for me as a gamer, as I was completely taken by its art style and immense poignancy. As I say in my review, Flower can speak volumes without using a single word.
Chris Roper: It took me a while to really get into Flower. I knew what the point was, in that it was designed to be more of an experience than a goal-based game, sure. But it wasn't until I had really connected with the controls and gotten deep into the game that I really relaxed and let go -- and then it clicked. Flower isn't about the destination, it's about the journey. Once you step back for a second and bask in the beauty of simplicity, you'll be hooked as well.
