AlexisValentine has posted up her second blog for The Windy Memoirs series. She takes us through her journey of getting through the third class change. Gratz Alexis!
This Tuesday was special...it marked the opening of the in-game Valentine's Event, as well as the 2009 Valentine's Well. This holiday Well was held on Fantasy Island at the Undersea Fantasy area. The location was absolutely lovely, as were the performances! In this review I highlighted three...two proposals (including one from kuyaaaa, the groom of the upcoming wedding this weekend!), and a beautifully tragic poem by the talented Emirra.
Be sure to check back for more Wishing Well reviews each Friday. Please visit www.l2rpa.org to learn more about the Wishing Well and the community that surrounds it. All are welcome. *smile*
And before I forget...Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
This month's calendar is all thanks to KissinKateBarlow of the Bartz server! This awesome shot (taken from inside Kratei's Cube) is very fitting for Valentines Day and makes for a terrific February Calendar!
It's been rumored for a long time among friends on Aria, and the big day is finally just around the corner! Here's the invitation:
That's right, Shemtara and kuyaaaa are getting married in-game...and if I might say so myself, they are one of the cutest couples I've ever seen. As the invitation says, they're tying the knot on Sunday, February 15th at 2:00pm EST (11:00am PST) in Aden's Temple on the Aria server. Everyone who would like to share in the celebration and congradulate this lucky couple is welcome to attend!
You can bring things to help celebrate, such as:
* Fireworks
* Salvation Bows
* Formal Wear
* ...and anything else you can think of!
This month's player spotlight highlights a guy known as Megatron on the official forums. His lovely dark elf character's name is Berendal on Devianne, and he's been hard at work with subbing and heading for noble! As much as he's working on game goals, he has a wife and kid in real life and takes things casually. To read more about him and his thoughts on L2, check out his interview!

KnightofDarkness is on a role. He's added another class guide to the L2vault wiki. This time focusing on the Dark Avenger. If you are a DA, plan on making a DA or just want to get the inside scoop about the competition, check out KoD's tips on skills, equipment, tattoos and PVP strategies.
Some may call it a throne, others call it a castle. Whatever name you give it, it's a lovely underwater-themed area found on Fantasy Island. Here you will find giant bubbling aquariums, shimmering lights, glowing oysters with pearls, and even heart-shaped topiaries covered with roses. There's many more sights and details to behold here, and it's been a fantastic location choice for weddings and other special gatherings...such as the recent Valentine's Wishing Well.
(This area can be found just off the Southeastern Beach. It's not far from the free Fantasy Island warp-in.)
There are a lot of pvp videos out there for Lineage 2, but I found this one today on YouTube and it stood out to me. It might be older, but not everyone gets to participate in such a large-scale pvp situation outside of seige fields...so I couldn't help but share this video for that reason. You can almost feel the adrenaline rush as you watch it. Enjoy!
The February 2009 newsletter tells us 2 things we already know, and one most did not. This being 1) The Valentine Event, 2) The Gracia Part 2 Pailaka zones and 3) A new paid service is being introduced for those who missed the opportunity during the "Choose your Destiny" event.
This month's issue of Florentine Circus (Translated Comic) is a rather cute one. Here's what Translator C-Lord had to say about it:
"This is the 18th installment of Florentine, this time showing the complicated Manor System. The story is short so it has also a bonus page, this time. This issue was translated with the help of my new collaborator, Pu. He helped quickly since Oilly had some cute RL thingy and couldn't be at my side.
We will try to have the 19th issue translated asap, fans. Enjoy this one now ;D "
The Tamoh Adventures for this week brings back some good fond AOE memories for me. I miss my warlord sub, but it's fun to see others who are enjoying it as much as I did. BTW, you're looking a little drafty in that doom my dear.
The Valentine Event. Coming out for Valentine's Day. Very creative name, I must say. The event launches tomorrow where you are able to make multi-layered cakes. The higher the cake, the bigger the prize! I'm getting hungry already! Check out the official site for more details.
Siege reports are now available from this weekend's sieges from Franz, Sayha and Phoenix. Looks like all owners of Franz castles managed to keep off their prey with the exeption of Giran. Fusion took Giran Castle back from JACKUDZA who took it from them to begin with. Has this been a vicious cycle between the two clans?
If you participated in any of the listed sieges, please add your perspective in using the Comment feature or by accessing it directly on the VN boards. (Please keep it as objective as possible and the flames low, but discussion is encouraged!)
In last week's poll, we asked, "What is your Favorite Epic Boss". The main reply was a tie between "Valakas". Congradulations to the Legendary Four-winged Fire Dragon. That Dragon is either really friendly or a favorite prey. ;)
This week's poll asks, "What is the Enchant Level of your Best Weapon?" Cast your vote using the poll located on the right hand side bar of our home page.

This week's wishing well review covers three excellent performances, one by Emirra and two by Abriel. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to catch the other performances that night, but if these three are any indication, the night was an entertaining one.

AlexisValentine presents the first ever instalment of The Windy Memoirs. It looks like the Tamoh Adventures have inspired others to bring out their creative blogging skills. And that's totally understandable considering that the Tamoh Adventures are awesome!!!
The Tamoh Adventures will continue to run as thriving as ever on Tuesdays, and The Windy Memoirs series shall be seen on Fridays.
