October 23, 2008 - Nearly three years after its original release, the PSP is still going strong. Nearly each month this year the handheld system has been showing remarkable gains in year-over-year sales. In fact, back in August when the PSP-3000 was announced and reported to include significant hardware improvements, the handheld managed to take third place in total units sold. As the PSP-2000 units are undoubtedly phased out in the coming months, the PSP-3000 will take its place as the one and only PSP, but we aren't convinced that the latest PSP is, in fact, the greatest. October 22, 2008 - Almost exactly one month since it was officially announced, The T-Mobile G1 Phone has made its nationwide retail launch. The G1 can now be found at retail outlets in cities where T-Mobiles 3G services are available, including Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Boston, Chicago and Minneapolis. October 22, 2008 - Apple? today announced financial results for its fiscal 2008 fourth quarter ended September 27, 2008. The Company posted revenue of $7.9 billion and net quarterly profit of $1.14 billion, or $1.26 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $6.22 billion and net quarterly profit of $904 million, or $1.01 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 34.7 percent, up from 33.6 percent in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 41 percent of the quarter's revenue. More »

The electronics mega-giant released its new Terms of Service for the PlayStation Network (PSN) this week, and its one of the few times you may actually want to stop to read the fine print. The new service agreement states that Sony is allowed to not only listen in but also record any activity that occurs through the PSN. But the Big Brother treatment doesn't stop there either. More »
