September 27, 2008 - While the 40GB may have been discontinued back in July, the nixed model can still be found at retailers with a sizable stockpile of the console. According to reports, Blockbuster, as one of the few retailers still carrying the SKU, will be dropping the price of the console by $40. An internal memo from Blockbuster has indicated that the price cut will be taking effect this Sunday. More »

September 24, 2008 - In a somewhat stifled bit of news this afternoon, Sony has finally officially announced the availability of their 11.1" Vaio TT notebook PC. The laptop, Sony says, is the world's lightest computer to feature Blu-ray technology with a total weight of 2.87 pounds and a thickness (or lack thereof) of less than 1". More »
