When the Debriefings goes up a day late, you can rest assured it's because there have been Big things afoot. This week saw Activision acquired by French media giant Vivendi, merging the Southern California publisher with its neighbor Blizzard to create Activision Blizzard. Jeff Gerstmann has left our gentlemanly competitor, GameSpot, after over a decade there. Deus Ex 3 has been announced, and Deus Ex vet Harvey Smith is suddenly looking for a place to hang his hat. And the proverbial much, much more. We'll also be playing Call of Duty 4 on the PlayStation Network this Wednesday, 12/5, at 4:00 pm Pacific time for 'Spy-Hunter, so shoot us a friend invite and come play!
