October 3, 2007 - NBC's Emmy-winning comedy series 30 Rock returns this Thursday, October 4 with a bang. This little show started under the shadow of another Saturday Night Live-based series (Studio 60) last fall, and has come into its own. The show just got better and better last year, and we fully expect 30 Rock to become the hit it deserves to be in this sophomore season.
Created by former SNL head writer Tina Fey, 30 Rock centers around Liz Lemon (Fey), the head writer of a live comedy sketch show. Co-starring Alec Baldwin as Lemon's boss, Jack Donaghy, and Tracy Morgan as the show's insane star, Tracy Jordan, the oddball series achieved ever-increasing critical acclaim throughout the first season. More recently, 30 Rock received an impressive 10 Emmy nominations and ultimately won two of the awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series.

Check out an interview with Jerry Seinfeld and Alec Baldwin, as they discuss going head-to-head on 30 Rock. We also interviewed Judah Friedlander, who plays snarky slacker writer, Frank Rossitano. And if that's not enough for you, we've got an advance review of the season 2 premiere and clips from the premiere as well. Still not enough? Then you should also check out an earlier interview we did with Tina Fey about Season 2 of 30 Rock.
Don't forget to set your DVR to record 30 Rock Thursday night on NBC, airing at 8:30 PM ET/PT.
