Euro-Creep

BERJAYA
From 20th to 30th June the EU has passed 109 laws that will impact on the UK.

The EU has announced more plans, particularly in the field of taxation:
The EU is trying to tax Britain's postal services, this will increase costs.

The EU is planning to codify its rules which compell the British tax authorities to collect taxes in Britain for other member-states. Furthermore, EU proposals want personal financial information to be shared with other member-states.

The EU is also seeking to limit the UK's ability to reduce price of fuel by increasing the minimum excise on petrol and diesel.

This bulletin also exposes how the European Union is taking control over corporation tax and is standardising taxes by stealth.

European Council usurps powers of governments
The Bruges Group has today pointed out that the European Council has, in effect carried out a coup dtat in the European Union by usurping the powers of the member states governments.

In its conclusions and attached documents, the European Council has issued a mandate to the Inter-Governmental Conference, something it has no right to do.

New treaties in the European Union have to be negotiated by the member states governments and their representatives not by the European Council, which is an institution of the European Union.

Reform Treaty to revive EU Constitution
Referring directly to the once thought dead EU Constitution the IGC mandate agreement, under the guise of bringing forth a new treaty to reform the EU, will bring in the key aspects contained in the Constitution that were rejected in the French and Dutch referenda.

This will lead to the surrendering of a substantial amount of power to Brussels. If this agreement comes into force it will hand over more than twice the number of powers given away at Maastricht and over five times the number needed for the creation of the Single Market. Blairs red lines were obviously as effective as the Maginot Line
