The blazing-fast pace of the original set the tone, Red Alert played up the cheese factor, Renegade took a detour into first-person shooters, and Generals added a whole new level of strategy. But the Tiberian setting of the original Command & Conquer, with the ubiquitous megalomaniac Kane, still holds a special place in our heart.
