June 10, 2005 - IGN has always been on top of things; that's why we periodically gather a list of the nastiest game-stopping glitches and offer recommendations on how to avoid them. While not everyone is destined to experience the same "bugs", we know how frustrating they can be for the gamers who do face them. Here're some recently reported glitches/bugs to look out for: WWE Smackdown Vs RAW, God Of War, Fable, Psychonauts, Dragon Ball Z Saga

Psychonauts
Platform: Xbox

Bug/Glitch: Just writing to help document a bug in the Xbox version of Psychonauts in case others come across it. If upon starting the game you happen to turn off the Xbox during the opening cinematic sequence (the one in which the coach is giving his speech), a corrupt save file will be created in the Xbox hard drive. If at a later time you attempt to start the game with said file in your hard drive, upon completing the cinematic sequence the Xbox will give a disc read error every time. Despite the error message, the problem lies not with the disc but rather with the save file which the user was never prompted to create.

Fix/Solution: How to fix it? Go into your Xbox dashboard, delete the save file, and start the game over. Now after the cinematic plays to completion the game should continue to run and ask you to create a profile.

WWE Smackdown VS RAW
Platform: PS2

Bug/Glitch: When I was playing Raw vs. Smackdown, specificlly a Triple threat match, playing as Shawn Michaels against Charlie Hass and Chris Benoit. The Glitch occured when Hass locked in his Signature Hass of Pain on Benoit, during this, I returned from being thrown out of the ring to knock him out of the submission move. Unfortunatly as I ran into them, he was pushed to the rope allowing a ropebreak. The only problom was, when Hass got up, Benoit didn't. He remained floating in the air for the rest of the match. I tried again but couldn't get it to work again, PLEASE let me know if you get it to work.

Fix/Solution: None provided.

Fable
Platform: Xbox

Bug/Glitch: In Fable, I discovered something that is actually a beneficial glitch, if you can call it that. While your bow is out, set your fireball to the X button. Then, hold L and lock on to something. While locked on, hold R and press X to make a fireball. While still holding L and X, let go of R and your character should still have the fireball, but he will also take out an arrow, and hold it between his fingers. If you let go of X, you can attack with a Arrow Fireball double whammy. Along with that, while charging the arrow, you can hold the X button harder causing the arrow to do more damage. I thought all of you should know this little glitch. Although it is a glitch, I hope it does not get fixed. It has helped me numerous times!

Fix/Solution: None provided. Glitch is non-fatal and considered a beneficial exploit.

God Of War
Platform: PS2

Bug/Glitch: In God of War, during the Challenge of Atlus, I think I discovered a glitch in the room with the saw blades in floor. When I first entered, the blades were there, but when I left the room and came back, they were gone. The funny thing was, the sound effects and the sparks were still there, and when I stood in the line of the invisible blade, it didn't kill me. So really, this is a helpful bug. I have no idea how I triggered it.

Dragon Ball Z Saga
Platform: Unspecified (PS2, Cube, or Xbox)

Bug/Glitch: In Dragon Ball Z: Saga, when you are fighting the blue guy and the red guy of the Ginu Force, beat them up until they switch from the red guy to the blue guy and back. Find the blue guy ( who you're not fighting) and kick him, and the z-store opens. close it, and you'll skip the rest of the fight. The bad part, it seems to show you videos out of order, and skip a mission you need for $$$.

Fix/Solution: None provided.
