January 10, 2007 - The majority of Samsung's mobile phones came to CES 2007 dressed for a Beverly Hills prom, but flashes of color are evident in certain corners of the booth. The e570 -- part of Samsung's La Fleur line -- is a festive-looking handset that come in a variety of bright colors, such as pink, orange, blue, and silver. The handset is fronted by an OLED strip that displays caller ID and media playback information.

The e570 sports a 1.3 megapixel camera doubles as a camcorder, and thanks to 20MB of onboard memory, you can capture a decent amount of photos and video before resorting to expandable memory like microSD.

Bluetooth functionality fleshes out the phone's feature set for business-minded users, but for fun, the handset also acts as a pedometer to measure steps for the fitness freak that tries to live in all of us. The e570 is certainly a cute handset, but like so many at this booth, it's fate is elsewhere than America.
