December 5, 2006 - There's nothing greater than playing awesome games on your favorite console or PC. The only thing close is the thrill in drooling over future games. This overwhelming desire to play the Next Big Thing has lead to the creation of IGN's Lust List.

Each week, IGN gathers the hottest upcoming games and places them in a pretty list. Who will be #1 this week? That all depends on the GPM (Game Popularity Metric), which is a complex formula developed by the PTA^*.

DS/PSP Most Wanted
#1       Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (PSP) Publisher: Konami  Release Date: December 5, 2006 Snake has slithered his way to the top, just as his latest handheld game ships to stores. The first true Metal Gear 3D adventure on PSP has fans excited and after IGN dropped a 9.0 on Portable Ops, Wednesday's release can't come soon enough.

IGN's Most Wanted for December 5, 2006
#1       Halo 3 (360) Publisher: Microsoft   Release Date: TBA 2007 Monday Night Football gives us a new glimpse at Master Chief and the world of Halo. Featuring a mixture of live action and CG, the trailer is supposed to house some hints that only the sharp-eyed will catch. The buzz surrounding the new trailer and spring '07 multiplayer beta has Halo remaining top dog once again.
