Acvault: What do you think Asheron's Call's strong and weak points are? As well as areas that could use some improvement, to be specific?
Lupus: Its greatest strength ties into its greatest weakness, in my opinion. Weve got a huge amount of content for a very wide level spread, but its very hard to realize just how much is in there without having to rely on a spoiler site. Thats why I consider a quest tool or tracker to be important. I also think that the way we reward certain actions is sometimes inconsistent, and Id like to see us reward questing more than we do while reward hunting less than we do.
The darkness of the place seemed to creep from every crack and crevice. Each footstep echoed in on itself countless times as it bounced around the damp and hollow space they now trekked through. A sense of quiet permeated everything, only their footsteps, their breathing, and the intermittent sounds of water droplets delicately hitting the cold floors were heard. Stalagmites and stalactites lined the ceiling and floors, forming a thick forest of stone they had to navigate their way through. What light could be seen had a blue tinge to it, though anything beyond a few feet was naught but blackness.

This week the team is working on getting things prepared for the December event. This includes testing for any final issues as well as making sure that things are in line with where the team wanted them to be. The event is set to go live on Tuesday December 12th and is titled Cold Tracks.
Players who choose to participate in this limited opportunity will receive full access to the game for 14 consecutive days free of charge. After the end of this trial period, players will automatically be subscribed to Asheron's Call for a monthly rate of $12.95 unless they cancel before the expiration of the trial.
This week the team is working on things for the December event. They are working out all of the details of the quests, working on some balance stuff and overall just getting things ready for testing.
We would now like to take this opportunity to answer a couple questions from the forums over the last week.
Any chance that the Nuhmudira quest will be repeatable?
As of right now we have no plans to change how this quest works. If we do decide to change anything on this quest we will be sure to let everyone know.
Where is the non Subscriber section of the forums you promised a while back? The reason is that right now we are having some issues making the changes needed to our forum management system to allow it to recognize the difference between the two user groups. It is something we are still working on, but as of right now I do not have an ETA on when things will be ready.
Is there any chance we can get a mana check command?
As of right now this is not something in the plans, but I can bring it up to the team.
Thats about it for today. Everyone have a great week and see you all in Dereth!

This Week With Turbine: Issue 4[ Comment ] Print News | Mail News | Category: News - Turbine It was a quiet week on the Turbine front, probably due to the upcoming patch, and the Free Trial being finalized, along with dealing with the various issues that came up with the patch. However, some interesting and humorous things still managed to pop up on the forums.
