who else was disappointed in the size of Twilight Princess? it's definitely way smaller than Ocarina of Time. less dungeons, less items, and hardly any minigames... no shooting gallery? come on.....of all the games not to include a shooting gallery in, they chose the one for Wii.

and who else was bummed that there was no big trading sequence?

They meant in sheer size, not playability, I mean the Lake Temple's boss's chamber was the size of OoT Lake Hylia, and Zora's River was the size of friggin Hyrule Field.

"Did you reread this to yourself? Because this sounds as stupid as hell."

um.....where did you learn how to count? TP has at least 2 less dungeons the OoT, and that's not even counting the Gerudo Training Grounds. and yes, it definitley has less items.

and there are certainly less minigames.

I don't actually recall this many items in OoT (unless you're counting unnecessary things like the Mirror Shield or the Eyeglass of Truth). From what I can remember, OoT had around...8 or 9 dungeons (including Ganandorf's Castle). I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that 9 still equals 9. Unless OoT had 11 dungeons, you're greatly mistaken.

Every dungeon in TP is as big as the first 3 in oot???? Doesnt that mean that there equal in size to the Deku Tree??? Anyway, same amount of dungeons. 9 = 9. Also, Oot didnt have as many minigames if you look around and also, Hyrule Field is so much bigger than the one in Oot. Plus, TP had alot of items and all of them were alot cooler. No useless items like the magic bean or eye of truth.

Of course Oot would have more if you include mini dungeons, but they have the same amount of actual dungeons, which include map, campus and item.

I wouldn't count them as "dungeons." The first two are necessary for the progression of the game, but they didn't seem like dungeons so much as sidequests with an extremely important item. tongue

"Ice Cavern (6)
Bottom of the Well(8)
Gerudo Training Grounds (11+1/2 or 12)"

Those are mini-dungeons. If you're going to count those, then you SHOULD count the twilight parts of TP, considering that's what those parts are.
SPOILERS

1.Forest temple
2.Goron Mines
3.Lakebed Temple
4.The "I can't spell" Grounds
5.Snowpeak Mansion
6.Temple of Time
7.Oocca City/sky temple
8.Twilight Palace
9.Hyrule Castle
10.twilight section 1
11.twilight section 2
12.twilight section 3

Great Deku Tree (1)
Dodongo's Cavern (2)
Jabu-Jabu's Belly (3)
Forest Temple (4)
Fire Temple (5)
Ice Cavern (6)
Water Temple (7)
Bottom of the Well(8)
Shadow Temple (9)
Desert Colossus (10)
Ganon's Tower (11)
Gerudo Training Grounds (11+1/2 or 12)

Don't argue this, it's 100% true. And it still looks pretty even to me.

I forgot about those. The twilight sections are kinda like mini dungeons.

Trashy, I'm sorry to say you've relegated your position on this board to the level of village idiot.

TP's Hyrule Field is at least five or six times bigger than that of OoT, and the first dungeon is as big as the latter dungeons in OoT. It takes more time for me to go through the forest temple (about 1 hour) than it does for me to go through the Deku Tree and Dodongo's Cavern (about 40 minutes not counting interrupting gameplay). In that case, TP not only has just as many REAL dungeons as OoT, but it also happens to have BIGGER dungeons than OoT, thus resulting in more dungeon time.

And there are loads more items in TP. Have you even played it yet?
