Funcom posted a new Age of Conan update which chats about Stygian culture and how it impacts the art:
"These type of images serve as both guide and instruction for our 3D artists creating the armor and clothing, but also serve as important inspiration for the kind of atmosphere that we want to create for these areas", explains Assistant Art Director Grant Regan, "players should be able to get lost in the worlds we create and that drives through everything we try and do with our art direction. The artists have to convey in these images how we want the experience of walking around Stygia to feel - that is no small feat in itself!" Meanwhile, they also released four new in-game screens:

In this installment of the Bungie weekly update Frankie talks about Pimps at Sea (aka Halo 3 MP beta):
Hey we were playing "Pimps at Sea" on Xbox Live last night. I have never had so many messages in one session before. I ended up attaching a USB keyboard to the 360 just so I could respond with either polite declines or hilarious jabs, depending on who was sending me messages. KP sent the rudest ones, I might add, since he was jealous. Of whatever we were playing last night.
Obviously Pimps at Sea is a codename for something else right now (Halo 3, dur). So when we do actually begin work again, on the epic life-changing experience that the "real" Pimps at Sea promises to be, nobody will believe us. The Bungie who cried wolf.

The NWN Vault conjured up an interview with Atari which gauges future support for Neverwinter Nights:
There was a strong feeling in the community, when the premium module program was first cancelled, that Atari was dropping support for NWN. Could you tell us more what happened exactly?
Atari is strongly devoted to working with Wizards of the Coast in continuing support and development for the Neverwinter Nights brand, and the Dungeon's and Dragons property as a whole.
The truth is that Neverwinter Nights 2 and other games of this nature are a major undertaking to develop and produce and focusing on the release of the sequel is what is best for the fans, the community and the brand.
Continuing to manage the release of new content for a game which was originally released now over 4 years ago has some amount of diminishing return in many regards. The most simple explanation simply boils down to the launch of Neverwinter Nights 2 largely requiring a shift on our part.
In fact there are many contributing factors to the decision, but we have not discontinued support for NWN, fans and community, or many of the user created projects out there - and this was never our intent - these we hope will continue to live and grow as long as the active community is in support of them.

I was playing some Viva Pinata yesterday and its cute little game. It's basically a garden sim. Great game and stuff, but I think R6: Vegas is a little more my speed. For next week I was thinking we'd kick up a holiday's buyer's guide which leads to today's question:
Your most wanted holiday swag?
