UK, November 30, 2006 - Up until now, it looked like our Americans cousins were set to enjoy the new 60-second TV teaser ad for Halo 3 exclusively. Praise be though: the good souls at Microsoft are clearly feeling charitable, having deigned to give us Europeans the opportunity to watch it ourselves - simultaneously with the US, in fact.

Unfortunately, you'll need to keep the caffeine handy if you want to catch the advert live - it's set to air on Xbox.com alongside its Stateside TV premiere, so prepare to keep those peepers wide until 2:15 in the morning (GMT), Tuesday December 5 to get a glimpse of it. Those who can't quite bring themselves to stay up that late due to work, school or - let's face it - sleep commitments will also have the opportunity to catch the ad on Channel 4 at 22:45 on Friday December 15. If that's still too late for you, it'll be made available via the Xbox Live Marketplace at some stage.

Furthermore, a few details have slipped out about the new teaser spot. For a start, it's been created by advertising agency McCann Erickson and apparently offers a "unique and compelling" look at Master Chief. Sounds fabulous.
