Guten morgen! Happy America Recycles Day! Well it's aboot time, eh. I wish the @zz munches in the park across the street from me would recycle. It's turned in to a haven for garbage and dog poo. The garbage and doodies... they have homes, families, pets of their own, they probably even have MTV. The other day I made the mistake of going in there after dark. I met up with this woman who liked to yap yap, and it distracted me from the buffet of badness my dog was feasting on. Little goof puked 8 times yesterday and was all sick 'n stuff. Death to garbage and poo! Rawr. Today is also Great American Smokeout, I Love To Write Day and Clean Your Refrigerator Day. Most importantly... it's Hump Day. Stop whatcha doin', 'cause I'm about to ruin the image and the style that ya used to. Do the Humpty Hump, come on and do the Humpty Hump!

This version of the recently released single player mission pack was updated by Vicpas, author of The Fortress. It contains essential files but trims things back nicely from 528MB to 141MB, and now features English menus.

QuArK 6.5.0 Alpha 8 With Wolfenstein Enhanced Support

There's a new release of the QuArK developer tool set available for download. QuArK 6.5.0 Alpha 8 pays special attention to Wolfenstein, starting with configuration sections for RtCW and Enemy Territory in the Infobase. You can read more about the Wolf specific updates here. Other improvements for this version of QuArK include:
- Improved code for Doom 3 and Quake4 for using the map name being edited without manually changing it.
- Added new "No fill" and "Outline color selection" poly functions to the RMB menu "Background image..." with direct full use Infobase link.
- Started direct linked Infobase docs for RMB menus, their items and full documentation on use.
- Fixed Extruder Shape Builder 2D view editor that was broke.
- Added light color pickers to entities for Doom 3 and Quake 4 and cleanup of the DataD3.qrk file.
- Fixed Access Violation errors when rebuilding and moving in 3D views.
- Added 0 division testing to stop console errors when "wrapping" textures.

GAMESTV.ORG is showing seven Enemy Territory matches scheduled for today with ETTV slots open. Games start at 13:00 CET and run through 20:00; covering ESL 6v6 Fall, CB Europe 6v6, PGA Polish Qualifiers and more.

CptnTriscuit presents the final version of his Baserace level for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, get it now at /Battlefield! The Baserace update includes bug fixes, some new obstacles, a new construction box location for each team, 7 new synergy bonuses, and more! There's also a new Baserace Guide to help you get started. Baserace is a unique project which sees teams racing to construct their bases. The first team to complete all 40 constructions or have the most completed when the timer runs out wins!
Other news over at /Battlefield includes the tabling of "Baserace Bastogne", but don't despair, there's a brand new map up for grabs called DeadCold; and for fans of Toxicity (it ain't easy being green!), watch for the first beta of "Toxicity: 31" coming soon.
